So, there's something that has been bugging me for like, 2 years, maybe? Yeah. It's about my school life. Most of you probably know that I defend gay people a lot, and I have nothing against them. But, because I defend them, some classmates started to spread false rumors about me saying that I'm gay, and I'll never get a girlfriend, or whatever. You know, spreading false rumors about a person is the WORST you can do. They also say that I'm mentally ill because I'm crazy, and I love craziness. Well, it's their fault for not standing craziness. So, Vizzians, what I'm asking you is this: How can I stop these false rumors? What do you suggest me to do? Please help me. Vizzed, you're my only hope.

Greenie , one of the ways is just to ignore them. 2nd one is to  say : ,,Listen you...! Even if I don't have anything to them , it doesn't mean that I'm like you've said! Mind your own business!"  There also other ways. 

Tama10 : I tried to ignore them, but this is too much. I just can't stand and ignore them anymore. Whenever they see me, they're like "Hey, Green! A boy loves you!", and it's getting very annoying.

They're ,,children" that will not understand anything.  As I've said other way is to show them that you're not weak. Did you also tried to find help by telling someone close to you (in real)? It sometimes helps.

Luigi the best way possible is try and have a girl as your friend. For them to see that you are a straight person and not gay. Do you have any girls who may be interested to be your friend? Show or make a possible way to tell the student body that you are not gay. There are ways you have to keep on trying. Don't ever give up ok? There is always a way.

Tama10 : Well, I talked to my mum about this, and she gave me some advice, saying that I "should reply back and be more aggressive". I replied back several times, and I already told them what I had to say to them, and they just won't understand. They're carrying on being stubborn...

Eniitan : Yes, I actually have a girl friend who likes me a lot, and she defends me. I have few friends who defend me. But, if my girl friend because my girlfriend, then perhaps the people will think I'm bi, or something. And, yes, I will never, ever, give up. It's never too late, and there's always hope.

That is really annoying. Hearing false rumors is painful.

Seems like ignoring isn't going to help. I suggest to find someone (preferably a classmate or teacher) you trust. Tell him/her about your problem. Then try to talk with the classmates who spread false rumors together with the trusted person(s). Tell them the truth about how you think about the situation (including everything about the problem, the stuff you posted here).

As it was said , be strong.

It's simple.

Spread rumors about them, ruin them more than they have you.

This advice is kinda weird and might not work but, you could act like you're actually gay X3 (you'd also have a kick out of it I'd imagine XD). I mean, they know that you're not actually gay. That's why they're hassling you about it. So acting like you are, especially doing things like asking out those boys who says you're gay. I've had a teacher once who said he asked out the boys that spread the rumor that HE was gay. And then when he did get a girlfriend, those boys (who were popular) we're never popular again XP. So yes, this has worked before .

The boys are really just doing this to get a reaction out of you. So not giving them the reaction they want (which is getting you frustrated) and giving THEM unwanted attention (I'm sure they'd hate to have you ask them out) might work if ignoring doesn't work. Sure, it MAY add fuel to the fire, and that's the bad part, but as long as your friends and your parents know you're not actually gay, then it'll probably be fine.

Don't worry about what strangers think about you. Only worry about yourself and the people who are close to you. And besides, when you do get a girlfriend, no one will ever trust them again.

Anyway, don't ignore them; that's not good - it'll just hurt you more. Just don't get angry around them, because, like Zero said, that's just what they want .

Secondly, having a friend who is a girl just means you have a friend who is a girl. It doesn't mean you're straight or gay xP. In fact, in general, gay people tend to have lots of friends who are girls, haha! Not that you shouldn't, but why does having a friend who is a girl mean she's your girlfriend? They'll probably think so, though, if they have the same mindset as my classmates . You do know my entire school thinks Hassan and I have been going out since, like, Grade 7, right ? 

Anyway, secondly, and most importantly, tell the teachers they're saying you're gay! Not only should they apprehend them for spreading false rumors about you, but for implying that being gay is something to be ashamed of !

If you want, I will literally write and sign by hand an actual letter you can give to them saying you're the straightest guy I know, who won't shut up about girls, and I know this because I'm your cousin, and I have to deal with your crap all the time .

Haha, that last part was a joke... or a half-joke?

Seriously, though, tell the teachers. I'm sure everything'll turn out fine .

And if they tell you a boy loves you, say, "Who, you?" OHHH!!!

EDIT: And remember, never stop defending what you want to defend just so people see you differently. I, for example, have openly supported LGBT people since Grade 7, and it's never really been a problem at my school, but, even if it was, I wouldn't stop defending them just so I could stop a rumor that I was gay. I stand by what I believe, and I believe that those people deserve rights just like we do, so I will never stop defending them. Don't let what the bullies say change what you want to do. Just keep that in mind .

Don't they realize that gay people are part of your everyday life.

Make sure that you do prematurely react because that is what they also want.

Sounds like to me the situation is dealing with kids that just think spreading rumors is funny.

I wouldn't tolerate it, I wouldn't get mad either.
I'd bring in the big guns, either the teacher or principal to get them to stop
If you get mad and let it show, that will just amuse them because some kids just love to be trolls, weither it's on the internet or real life.

I know, telling on them isn't the greatest option, but if they were bugging me enough to get to that point. It'd be their own fault.

If you want to defend people for choosing a different type of relationship, then I'd respect that.

I'm not saying you're lucky for having things this way, but it's pretty miserable having pretty much the opposite happen to me. I've been struggling to make friends with guys in my school because they're either bad influences or don't feel like talking to me. But I've made friends with a lot of girls and I've been teased multiple times for it.

One time a new girl walked into my classroom. She told the teacher she was new to the school, so right away I helped her out. I filled her in on what we were doing in the class, and afterwards I started talking to her and being her friend, making her feel welcome to the school. The guy sitting next to me whispered to me teasing me for flirting with her. I'm not even that interested in having a relationship with a girl yet, I'm just interested in making friends with them for now.

What I think you should do is report the rumors to your teachers and if it gets even more out of hand (such as people teasing you farther for being gay and loving the teachers too), you should report it to your principal. Gay jokes used to be made all the time (not about me but others I know) in my school but it doesn't happen anymore. I'm almost positive it's because people were reporting it.
