We are all expecting the day where this thread can be closed for good, but if every post you make has a bit of good news, we are all fine with that.

It seems like they promised you a normal life after just a while, and it's taking more than expected. Well, I was also said I could live a normal life when I was diagnosed my disease nearly six years ago, and it still hasn't become a "reality", since I'm still hampered by quite a few things. I know what it is to not get well within the doctors' expectation, but that's not a reason to give up and think it's over.

Bugging us with summons? Never. Bugging us with updates? Come on, you know we are extremely impatient to see you back in action, and we want feedback on how you're doing every now and then.

Please don't stop updating, and keep "bugging" us with summons until it's over. We will keep sending you our energy so your recovery goes faster.

It's really good that your situation is improving. But honestly I was expecting two tubes to hurt less than one. lol I'm really glad you got those staples taken put also. That's really good to hear. And another thing; you're bugging none of us with these updates. We all like hearing from you. And especially when it's knowing you're recovering from something as serious as what you've been through. Our prayers have been answered!

Its good to hear that the surgery went successful.

I'm relieved to hear that things are steadily improving. I can only imagine how difficult normal, effortless everyday tasks must be for you in your current condition. It definitely puts into perspective how so many people take good health for granted. Don't worry about the updates, I'm pretty sure you're not doing anyone any harm by letting us now how you're doing. 

Just be careful not to overexert yourself, and take it easy okay? Should anything happen and you find yourself seeking tranquility, remember you are always welcome to talk to us. 

You've been going through quite an ordeal here, but it is definitely known that you are cared of here, and we want to see you become well! Glad to hear that you are getting better and I will continue to pray that you will be completely healed soon. I wouldn't worry too much about work in general. For something like this, rest is very important for you to be 100%.

Hey everyone....I wasn't going to really be positing in this thread anymore until after I knew how everything was going to go, since I was going to have another week of waiting in place. So that way I would know for sure if I'd be able to return to the site after a few days from having the tube out or if it'd be a while before that would become a reality. Fortunately the last time we had talk to the doctor over the phone he had said we could come in on Monday instead of having to wait until the following Thursday again...which was some relieving news to me. Regrettably; however, I had a little incident happen just a while ago....maybe and hour ago at most. My last and final drainage tube had been semi-dislodged from my back so it's not able to suck/drain any of the fluid from my back out and is basically like a useless piece now. We're not sure what will happen now, we're trying to see if we can get an appt in tomorrow morning right beside my nutritionist appt I'll have later in the morning. If I learn any new information and am able to come back on here I'll let you all know; but, if it's just not really any "important" info I'll just leave it be :/. *sighs* just one string being shot out one after another....I'm still not giving up any hope with everything, it's just more so aggravating.

There's not much else I can really say here besides the fact that I'm hoping things can still be fine, that I may be able to return here again sometime soon, :s and that I may finally have things restored to normal at home/in my life. I'm sure none of this is a joy to read either and believe me it disgusts me always having to come back and relay mostly bad news. Not sure if I'll be able to rest at all this night but even if I may not. I hope all of you may have a pleasant night/day, and hopefully nothing will drag any of you down either. EDIT: My tube just fell out of me and blood/liquid poured out of me like a heavenly fountain while trying to sleep. Was awoken by it and ran for my parents bedroom. :s lesson learned...shouldn't be sleeping...but guess it doesn't matter now since it's a lot more painful now....will today still be good? I don't know now....

And I know everyone keeps telling you this, but I can still tell that you feel like you're bothering us (I think). Nothing could be farther from the truth. We love hearing any updates from you,. You're our friend and we miss you when you're not around. We really appreciate any and all updates that keep us informed on how our buddy is doing. Trust me.

Not pleasant to read, but your resolution to not give up makes up for it. We won't let you down either, so whenever you need to feel cheered on, come back around here.

I wish you can work it out, man. We all have put our hopes in that you will be back, and I'm still confident that moment will come before October.

Please keep up with the updates. Be it good news or bad news, any post from you is special in this thread, and we all will be here to keep cheering on you.

I'm really sorry to hear this Erick, I hope things get better for you. 

My goodness man, just reading this actually makes me want to cringe. That definitely has to be an awful feeling to know that you're so close to making a full recovery and then getting your life back on track, and then something like this comes out of nowhere and interferes with everything. I know it seems redundant to say, but you don't have to feel like you're bothering us. That is what we are here for.

No matter how horrible it must've been to wake up to that, your positive resolve completely overshadows it. I really hope things will get better from here on out. 

Wow, waking up to that must have been horrifying Best of luck with getting that fixed. You've been through a lot and I hope this can be over with soon. Until then you're still in my prayers

Weeeellllp I just got back from my immediate check-up today, for what happened after my last post on here. (the second tube coming out) Now I can promise you all THIS WILL be my LAST update in this thread as stated by the doctor's saying: "don't think he'll need to come back, as it doesn't feel like there's anymore liquid inside his back where the tumor was located" So hurrah hurrah no more appointments for my back >.> other ones may still apply though... *sighs* can't be perfect I guess. Just figured I'd let you all know that nothing had to happen, DID NOT need to be cut open again or anything so that's some good news for you all. Only downside is it's still a little rough to move around/lay down due to the "Large" incision they had to make across my back. So sadly I even though surgically everything is complete, aftermath and all....I feel I may still be out another week possibly. (depending on how quickly it heals up, as you can still very clearly see the incision line...whereas usually you'd see the skin start to form over it.) I "should" be back late September (this month) and I know I'll "Definitely" be back in October.

This has been tough on me both emotionally and physically; however, like I said all-throughout this thread I wasn't going to give up/lose hope and I still haven't. It affected me emotionally because of how I felt I was slouching on duties and I couldn't be here for some of my friend to talk to or interact with at all...so kind of just took a toll on me personally there. As some friends you have just become a huge part of your life/days that when they're gone you just feel empty at times. Obviously we know how it would've been physically so don't think I need to pry much there but hoping within a couple days I can start my normal 3.5 mile walks again each night (usually 5-6 nights per week) to which I am looking forward at starting up again. Still be rough here and there but I'll come back full force eventually, then I can start up again with some of my favorite work on here between the writing/testing/or managing and get those creative interests flowing again!

Not much else to say here other than, it's been quite a journey this past month and a half. (almost) Has been a nice ride with you all, know it must've taken time out of your days that you could've spent otherwise, and I beg pardon if it did at all during this timeframe. Thank you all for the replies and words here and there, sorry that this had to go on for sooooooo long, and love y'all here < 3 Definitely shall be wishing and hoping the best of days upon you all after all the time spent here, and hopefully my next post after this one will be a bright one for you all again.
