Space...ahh the only place where pitch black is the only trend (and white). I just want to say: "WE ARE NOT ALONE". Think about it...looking in the dark night sky with stars lit, what if there was someone else there; an advanced civilization that is WAY ahead of us with advanced technology that is far ahead of our time. Throughout the years, NASA has been trying to reach "them" (extraterrestrials, well known as aliens) by means of communications. Here are a few examples:
-Moon landing of the Apollo 11 on 1969; they put a time capsule featuring some content of daily American pop culture
-Sent a disc with messages which was put onto Voyager I and II
-And the upcoming New Horizons project which will explore Pluto using an unmanned space-craft; NASA has even planned for an extra mission where it will explore the outer reaches of space for other life
Today, I just want to discuss about other life forms. but all of this information could actually be true and that they may be Alina's. there have been a plethora of alien UFO sightings. Some may be false while some may be true...but we will never truly know because there just is not enough proof like video evidence. There is also infamous photographs like the 1968 New Mexico UFO sighting...
Well that is all for today, next time I will make a more longer, detailed article about aliens. I just want to make one message clear:
WE ARE NOT ALONE!

Well, there is an awful lot of space out there to be full of non-living things. Whether or not there are other, physical, intelligent creatures, I'm not sure, and for reasons I'll not go into, I doubt.

Though, I do think there must be some kind of life at least a little similar to what is here on earth out there, especially with all the " earth candidates" found in the past decade or so. Now that we have the technology, we are noticing many earth-like planets. To actually visit them would be one of the greatest adventures I can imagine.

I personally find it to be foolish to assume that there aren't other intelligent beings of some sort out in space. It's so huge and we've only just scratched the surface regarding discovery and even less so in actual explored space.

Jordanv78 : I think you're right, we can't know for sure if there is other life out there, there is a vast amount of Outer Space that we have not learned of nor explored yet! But, it would be cool if we could visit to Earth-like planets which are also called "Expoplanets". Hey, "The More You Know!".
Light Knight : Yes, I totally agree with you. Right now, scientists and researches predict that Voyager I and II  are now both leading into the *Heliopause, a part of outer space which is beyond the layer called the *Termination Shock (a layer which the energy of the sun ends and starts to interfere with the energy coming from the *Interstellar Medium). Although we have lost contact with them, by now aliens or any other intelligent life could have found it and read the messages NASA had sent with it. The furthest known part of Outer Space we know so far is the **Oort Cloud, a gas cloud filled with hydrogen and other elements which helped shaped the Solar System. So, no one may know about other life out there in the void, all we have to do is wait...

Sauron422416 : LOL my name is Alina! Glad to know there are more of me out there x'D I don't know whether to believe it or not, but people sometimes have convincing stories that they were abducted. I saw this one video that a guy was abducted and apparently had an alien baby xD Another video was about these campers that had no recollection of how they got there and they had recurring nightmares about being experimented on in front of the rest of the campers. I know there's some debate on that these aliens are actually demons but I don't know. Could be.

I have a weirdo from my job where he said that other life forms are out there and the government is hiding from all of us, they will soon visit us and greed us with nice things and/or enslave all of human civilization, just listing to him got me thinking about Extra Terrestrial life out there, I know we also aren't alone in the universe.

Come to think of it, look how big the entire universe is (and additional universes), and we haven't even explored 0.00000001% of the entire universe as of this point, so we are bound to find something far, far away.

So, my point of view, there is something out there somewhere.

I for one believe without a doubt that we are not alone.  I heard that we are even living amongst them here on Earth already, both above and below ground in the underground military bases.  No offense to us human beings, but I don't think we were smart enough to just come up with most of the technology we have these days.  We had to have had help with some of this stuff for sure.  Some of the supposed NASA footage is pretty interesting too, like the giant cable that drifted off into space with all of the circular things floating around it and darting off in different directions...space dust my butt.  I also heard that one of the last times we went to the moon, we were warned not to come back, and then Bush flies a bomb into it to "look for water" huh.  Sorry, but I am a bit of a conspiracy theorist when it comes the things like this, and space is just too large for us to be the only inhabitants of it.  The giant pictures on the ground of animals and insects, and what appear to be landing strips ( I forget the locations of both ) that you could only see from the sky, I mean why make them so large if you cant see them?  Anyway, yeah, we've been visited before and they are out there now, at least that's what I believe.  Thanks for the post and keep on looking to the skies.  You never know what you might accidentally see.  Live long and prosper friends.

It would be ignorant to think that with all the space out there the only life in the entire universe exists here on Earth. I think when scientists proved that Earth is not the center of everything and we are just kinda randomly located amongst other planets and stuff it kind of disproves anyone that though that Earth is special and God put us here and only here. I believe there are definitely other life forms out there somewhere. I don't know if they are more advanced than us or less advanced than us. I don't know if they are humanoid or not. I don't know if they are single celled organisms or they are bigger than anything we have here on Earth. All I know is that, more likely than not, there is life elsewhere.

As tgags said, it is really ignorant and close minded to think we are the only life forms in this vast universe. People are afraid of what they do not know and cannot control, that is why so many people refuse to believe that there are other forms of life out there. I don't watch a lot of tv, but I've seen plenty of programs that discuss the experiences people have with their encounters, they never feel the same afterward.

Some theories actually suggest that humans are an experiment of "aliens" and that they allowed us to live and prosper just to see how things would play out.

Ultimately, it's highly unlikely that we are alone in this universe. Who's to say that there's not forms of advanced life monitoring us now through the webs of time and space undetected? These life forms aren't confined to the stringent beliefs and principles that we are. They've expanded their capabilities far beyond anything we would consider possible. If you think about it, a modern-day cellphone now would've been considered impossible to someone in the 1800s. It is because the majority or humans are so confined to what is already known and confirmed, that so many of us haven't opened our mind to consider the possibility of other forms of life and explore the unknown. It's a shame that it requires a life-altering personal experience in order for them to open their mind to a vast labyrinth of possibilities.

I really think it's stupid to assume we're the only intelligent life forms in the universe, from a purely scientific stand point more or less everything points to there being something else out there with how vast and expansive and the universe is.

This is something we've started to realize more and more. As we've also gradually gotten rid of the perspective of the earth being some kind of center of the universe with how humans used to think all planets revolved around the earth (or how even most religions seem to enforce the view though that is going a bit off topic), and starting to realize that we're just a microscopic part of it all, who's even to say other life forms out there is anything like the ones found here on earth?

I don't think we as humans even know enough about the universe t even truly speculate until we find actual evidence. And a UFO is just that. An unidentified flying object. Not necessarily extra-terrestrial. I'm not trying to use any sort of religious argument here against the possibility either. We don't know how life began. We don't even know how life works. A single cell contains mysteries that science is unable to explain as of yet. Not that we never could, just the idea of it being so complex. Discoveries are made daily. The odds of life arising anywhere seem extremely low to me. Even here on Earth the conditions are perfect. So much goes into what makes our planet habitable. From how long it's been since the universe began, to the fact that we have this giant moon that drives our tides and may have stirred the pot enough to aid the formation of complex molecules. If our current 'understanding' of physical processes are correct, we do not know what over 70% of the universe consists of. Dark matter and energy? Maybe. All we can do is detect its gravitational influence on galaxies. Or, maybe we have something fundamentally wrong about our understanding and we need another Einstein to figure it out. Did you know that scientists are about ready to abandon their model of how a black hole works? Cosmos and Neil Tyson don't have all the answers. In essence, I guess I never assume anything is certain until I have real proof. It's not like I don't want to think there are other life forms out there. Sad thing is, even if there are, we'd probably never know, considering the distance to even the nearest star would take longer than the history of human civilization to complete, I love science fiction though. I'm reading a series of books about an alien race called the Xeelee. A type IV civilization that moves stars around and has no interest in human affairs at all.

I wouldn't put anything past it. There's a very high chance that a solar system like ours exists elsewhere, but as long as they're not attacking us I'm not concerned
