jjrock42 : That would be considered piracy, since the Nintendo ds systems are still in healthy circulation. The GBA games are very obscure, as are the systems.

I believe that the best way to Improve the Retro Game room at this point would be to revamp the N64 emulators/Netplay

A lot of users are really looking to play N64 games on Netplay, and really in general. Updating some of the N64 emulation with the plugin would do wonders to get to that point.

It would be nice if the boxarts enlarged when we mouse over them when we're browsing games, just like the screenshots do. Sometimes I want to get a better look at a boxart without going to the game's page.

Edit: Cool, you actually did it! Thanks.

A game volume slider so I can set the volume for the game playing it would be really useful considering my mic is very very VERY quiet.

I recommend we show game controls on it's page. I thought we were doing this a while back but I could be wrong. Maybe add it as one of the tabs at the top after you select a game (along with  hacks, price guide, netplay videos, etc.). I'd recommend having a picture of the controller and fields for each button that staff can fill in.

Something like this.

18mlivingston : After starting a game try clicking on the sound icon and opening the volume mixer, it will give you control of volume for the browser that you can turn up or down. Let me know if this trick works.

It would be nice to be able to trade between Pokémon games but the hacked one only with the same series of hack or other hacks for the others.

I personally think that the best bet would be to make the RGR Plugin where it completely loads inside a browser window without having to install larger windows files. Several of the popular competitor sites do this. I think that often times having to download and install an unknown file from an an unknown source scares away a lot of users.

I was thinking of adding PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube games to the rgr (minus first party games by nintendo)

PCSX2, Dolphin, and Xeon would be great emulators, (maybe replace vba with vba-m)

I was recently thinking of how VBA has multiple graphics filters. I'm not sure why they were never incorporated into the RGR plugin, but sure would be cool if they were. For GBA you have filters to make the games look high definition, or somewhere close to it with 14 different filters.

Also in VBA, for Gameboy, you have options to change the colors. This would be cool for some of the games that don't automatically run in color, for example Final Fantasy Adventure for gameboy.

Edit:
I probably should have posted this to this thread:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=87980

Edit 2:
Not needed to post to that thread since I found the solution by changing the MESS System to GBC

ultrasonic2 : I'm guessing the reason for n64 games not having the timetrial mode is because it's exclusive to the mednafen emulator, which doesn't support n64 emulation.

ultrasonic2 : The RGR plugin is basically a browser based graphic user interface for a whole bunch of open source emulators, the goal of which is to help users avoid unfamiliar ground when downloading the emulators and ROMs and takes all of the work out of them by pre configuring them for you so you can get straight to gaming.

I'd love to see the random button working.
Right now, it seems to just take you back to the main page.

Can you implement a invite to game. Say I'm playing a single player game. And I want some one to talk to. It would be convenient to send a automated invite message to your friends so you have some one to talk to. Or maybe you can do that with net play. Their is a idea.
