I remember playing the game Tetris when I was younger for the gameboy I think it had no color yet nice music though. Walk around with your gameboy playing tetris was pretty cool. Gameboy color may have came out several years after gameboy. Tetris is a game that makes you think a brain teaser put on your thinking cap. Back then I think I may played the nintendo version too. Both pretty cool to play! As you continue to play to more levels it becomes harder and faster as I remember. At one point its almost ridiculous to play at that speed at that level are you kidding me! I always think of Tetris as fun to very difficult thinking game. As the game gets more difficult you have to think fast or start over.

I have played Tetris. I think many many have.

I played the PC version quite a bit back in the 90s. It's fun, but not so much my kind of game.

I've played many different versions of the game Tetris. But, I think my most favorite versions would have to be the little blue handheld version of the game, and Tetris Plus 2 on the Play Station 1 with the little Chibi Professor.

I used to love playing Tetris on the Game Boy. It was one of my favourite games when I got my Game Boy way back when. Me and my dad used to connect our game boys and play against each other all the time.

Man, what a concept!  The younger generation seems to prefer Pokémon; for me it's still Tetris. It was such a breath of fresh air in the video game industry at the time. Although music and graphics were primitive, I still couldn't get enough of this block-assembly game. I always wanted to reach the next level or, when I flunked, start over and try to beat my score.

I have played Tetris many times.  When I was a kid, I downloaded various free PC versions of the game, and eventually bought Tetris Worlds on PS2. Later on, I started collecting retro games and consoles, and obtained Tetris for NES and the original Game Boy.  Not to mention various versions of Tetris on mobile phones.

I have an old 1900's tetris handheld that only plays tetris. I've beaten it about 8 times and its really fun. tetris is a challenging game that you stack blocks into lines to get points. (if you don't know what it is)

Not only have I played Tetris... I've had dreams i was playing Tetris! Seriously though, it gets bad.

Anyhow, I have the top score for a couple Tetris games here on vizzed but the NES Tetris is still the best to me.

I don't think you'll find someone that hasn't played Tetris once in their life (other than old people and under-developed countries).

I have personally played all kinds of Tetris games from the classic Nintendo game to user-created flash games, we got as many as a million variations of Tetris.

I don't think it's possible to encounter anyone that hasn't played tetris once, or at least heard of it (unless they're a corpse or live in a third world, underdeveloped country). I've played tetris several times and it is by far one of my favorite classic games to play. I remember playing it on my gameboy, I think the reason I really come to enjoy this game is because of its simple objective and ability to make you actually strategize the placement of the blocks. 

Despite all of the more developed and complex games of today, tetris still, and always will have a very special place in my taste of video games.

Funny how I find this thread right after I finished playing Tetris Plus in the Retro Game Room.
