This week you'll be playing Bomberman '94 on the 2nd level with no teams and no CPU.



Instructions: Whoever created the session should be in control over setting up the game. On the title screen pick 'Battle Game'. Then pick the number of players that will be participating in your matchup. Then pick 5 to win (last option). Then from here you may allow users to take turns picking their own character in their player order and once everyone is ready, click the option at the very right. Then on the next screen you'll pick the 2nd level.


Be sure to meet up in the netplay lobby at least 5 minutes before your matchup begins so that you have plenty of time to discuss the matchup with your opponents. Someone will need to volunteer to make the netplay session. Doing so is easy, go to the Bomberman '94 game, scroll down to the netplay area and click 'Click here to Start a New Netplay Session'. Be sure to give the session a name and be sure to choose the number of players that will be participating in your matchup.


Once the matchup has taken place, be sure to post in this thread the order that everyone placed in. If you don't think you'll be able to remember the results, then take a screenshot using the RGR Plugin of the results page and post it to this thread.

Thank you for choosing the spots for me, I've been stressed out and I can't say how thankful I am to still be in the game. I'll try to appear on time this time.

I got David and djinn tonight ( so probably a 3rd of 4th place finish ), and then Ben and Forest Dragon tomorrow night ( so probably a 2nd or 3rd place finish ) ? Oh, I am so boned.

Davideo7 : that was a good match. I almost had you guys twice, but I kept screwing up.

thing1 : It's beyond me how you didn't score any points, you were playing as good as any of us.

Davideo7 : Well, it was only my 2nd time using the controller on that game. And I have never been great at Bomberman; just average. 

thing1 : You have to make sure to get a controller with a good D-Pad because otherwise it might be difficult to get around corners. Even with the nice rotating D-Pad of the newer Xbox 360 controller, I still sometimes get caught on the corners or don't end up going down a path that I intended to go down. It's one of the few RGR games that can be played just fine with a keyboard but a controller definitely adds comfort.

Davideo7 : I am using my spare XBOX ONE controller since I couldn't figure out how to get the PS4 controller working. 

thing1 : The Xbox One controller is actually better for retro games than the Xbox 360 since it has the superior D-Pad, even better than the rotating D-Pad.
