So I have a lot of free time on my hands atm and I am in search for some new movies to watch. I have seen so many that I'm literally running out of options. If you could suggest a list of recommendations that would be awesome! I like Action/Adventure, Comedy, Horror. I like others as well but I'm kind of only in the mood for New Comedy and horror movies. As long as the movie was made between 2000-2014 your good. I guess under made in 2000 is fine as well, so all suggestions are open :3 Thank you for all who suggest some

Well, there are so many good comedies that I know, but the 2000-2014 is a severe limiter... So, let me think...

The Amazing Spider-man 2 is a good Action Comedy...
Hotel Transylvania is funny.
And, if you like a Musical comedy,
The Producers, isn't terrible...

Every single Spider-Man movie. You must do it. Spider-Man was released in 2002, and Spider-Man 2 was released in 2004, then Spider-Man 3 came out in 2007. Then, they rebooted the franchise, and released The Amazing Spider-Man in 2012, and the newest movie as of now, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, was released last year, so I definitely recommend you to watch all of these if you like superhero movies. And, if you like movies in general.

For action and adventure, maybe I would suggest Edge of Tomorrow as well as the Sherlock Holmes movies.

Do you have a specific genre that you have a craving for right now? I think that I would dictate my answer based on that.

play4fun : Yes Comedy and Horror. I also have a craving for Action/Adventure. I have seen tons of action/adventure movies though. I seriously need to make a movie list but I don't think I would be able to list all of them I have seen so many.

It might be make it a little easier if we knew what have you seen before, however I'll go ahead and list a few for now: Reservoir Dogs, The Usual Suspects, Snatch, Interview with a Vampire, 30 Days of Night, Red Dawn, From Dusk Till Dawn, Rambo: First Blood, True Grit (new and old are good), Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Memento, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Underworld, Blade, Devil's Rejects, Machete, Total Recall (new is ok, old is a bit better), Water Boy, Billy Madison, and Super Bad. I'm guessing you've already seen a few of these, but I'm hoping some will be something you can experience for the first time.

I recommend Hotel Transylvania, it's amazing.

I also recommend the new TMNT. It's not as awful as everyone was dreading, it's actually pretty good. And Maleficent if you've not seen it yet, GAAAH GOOD MOVIE!

As for horror...have you seen Boogeyman? I'm not sure what year it came out, but a quick google search should tell you. It's creep-central.

Since you've already seen all the Spiderman movies, how about some other Marvel movies? Have you seen Captain America : The Winter Soldier? If not, I highly recommend you do after watching the first Captain America. It's one of my favorite Marvel movies.

If you're into comedies, then most movies starring (the late) Leslie Nielsen will give you a good laugh. I watched Airplane! a few years ago and I laughed so hard.

Since I watched other movies of his like Naked Gun I knew I needed to pay close attention since there are so many details and gags you can easily miss. For example, when the "main character" arrives at the airport, you can hear the airport's PSA messages saying silly stuff. That's also the movie where "I am serious, and don't call me Shirley" comes from. There are other memorable quotes from that movie that also play with words.

If you don't mind dubbing (or better yet, if you master French) the second live-action Asterix movie (where he goes to Egypt) is the best so far. There are so many references to pop culture (Cleopatra: I'm going to build the largest palace ever. Caesar: Larger than Caesar's Palace?) that you will lose count of how many there are. Except for the lack of the "Pudding à l'arsenic" song, the movie was much better than the late 1960s animated adaptation of the book.

While we're talking about Asterix, the 12 Works of Asterix is also worth a look. I admit that the animation is a little primitive, but you have to at least watch The House that Sends You Mad (available on Youtube). It's the best caricature of bureaucracy you will ever see; it reminded me of my journey to get my green card...

Finally - and a mastery of French is necessary to fully appreciate it - Asterix in Brittany (England) is also excellent. The main fun comes from the "Britons", who speak French with an obvious English accent but also with an English grammar. So "I beg your pardon" is translated word for word, which turn to "I ask for your forgiveness".

As far as action/adventure goes, I have a weak spot for the first 2 X-Men. They were cleverly made and brought an interesting debate to the scene (a reminiscence of Jim Crow: try to "control" mutants).
The first Spiderman with Tobey McGuire was also good. He was a little goofy but once he took his role seriously the action comes in quickly.
Finally, the first Iron Man was also pretty good. Despite all the action the storyline was decent and "credible."

Since you like action movies, would you be interested in James Cameron's Avatar? If you haven't already seen it then you should totally watch it. It's a lot better than anything that's come out in the 2010's. that I've seen in my opinion.

Animated wise, I would say The Incredibles, Wreck It Ralph, or Big Hero 6.  Live-action wise, I would say The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, any of The Fast and Furious, and 22 Jump Street.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
