do you have a close relationship with your family

I have a super close relationship with most of my family. My Mom, sister's, brother and myself are really close and get along great most of the time. We do have our arguments every once in a while, but patch things up pretty quick. None of us get along with our dad. 

It's not a super close relationship, but I do get along with most of my family. I get along well with my mother, stepdad, grandparents, aunt, and one of my younger brothers. My other brother refuses to get along with me due to being very young and tired of me squeezing him constantly =3= I tend to get along with my cousin alright despite having strange conversations and arguments every now and then, and I really don't bother talking to my uncle much, so I am eh with him. I get along with most of my family most of the time.

I do my best to get along with members of my family and I often make attempts to conserve the peace, but a lot of the times it just doesn't work out the way I wish it would. 

A lot of the time, I isolate myself from conflict in my family, mainly because whenever I intervened, I would just get accused of something I didn't do, so now I do everything I can to avoid conflict. I struggle to get along with my younger brother mainly because there is an 8 year age difference and my interests are completely different from his...so it causes trouble when my parents hear of our lack of interaction with each other. 

Overall, I try to get along with everyone in my family to the best of my ability.

Nope we are just a family full of psychopaths. But there were a few good days with my family. Cant say I hate them. (Except the things they do)

My family that I know of, yes. I tend to get along with all of them very well. My mom and dad however were caught in a discussion between the two sides of our family, and our family just kind of split afterwards. Since our side of the family lives in Europe, we decided to move back to here. I do skype with my other family from time to time, but only during holidays or my birthday or something. 

My family gets along moderately well at best.

For the most part we're pretty close (not counting aunts). We've had our rifts over the years, but we all still talk with each other and keep everyone updated on big events.

Well, it is kinda hit and miss with my family, mostly because my family is more of a dysfunctional family, so, you can say that the attitude my family is kinda poor, but we manage to try the best we can to at lease keep it together.

The first time I got separated from my family for a long time was at age 20 for an exchange trip. I was without any physical contact with them for more than seven months... and I didn't miss them that much. Even today, when I only see them once or twice a year (notwithstanding occasional Skype calls) I don't feel like I'm missing them.

I don't know if it's only in my head but I feel so far apart from them. My brother and sister were more into sports while I was into languages, my mother was the sole earner in the family for a very long time so we didn't see her often, and my father has such an insupportable mood that I felt almost ecstatic when I left the house to go live with Honey.

I watched "American history X" a few days ago and the "you are not welcome" dinner scenes reminded me of some Christmas dinners we have had, without the neo-nazi aspects, though. So umm... yeah, we are close. Though only person I really ever miss is my kid brother who I see few times a year.
    My mom calls me every week, my dad less often and I have not seen him in maybe two years but I still like to think we are close in our own special way. My moms side of the family is very close and stay in touch a lot. Me and my dad, we have pretty much no family besides each other and we appreciate each others privacy and are content to leave each other alone. It is kind of hard to describe without sounding cold. All in all, I appreciate my family more and more the less time is between the present and my teenage years.

Well I love my family very much I couldn't live without them. If I ever lost them I would be lost but we do fight quite a lot .. especially me and my younger sister. It's a lot better now but before she was attacking me every night. It gets really hectic in my house some nights but I am able to get through it. I mean all siblings fight especially if there is a age gap like me and her have. Shes 13 and I'm 19 so of course there will be a few things we don't agree on or get along with but at the end of the day I wouldn't trade my family for anything. 

Unfortunately my family is split between my mothers and fathers (due to constant fights between them) and I act as the mediator between the two (possibly because I'm the youngest in my family) but recently my family has gotten a lot closer and are very caring, although there is the small disagreement here and there. Apart from those, I couldn't be happier with the family I have. 

Personally I get along pretty well with basically all my family members even if I don't see many of them that often. My mom and I have a few arguments here and there sometimes but one of us usually always end up apologizing by the next day XD Though I'm really talking about my mom's side of the family here, since those are the people I consider family.

I don't get along very well with my dad, but I've never really considered him family in the same sense I do my mom's side, I honestly just wish he'd leave me alone (trust me there's a long history behind why I'm saying that and it would probably be moot to go into in this thread anyways).

As for how my family members get along with eachother, well they've had their fights and there's been some pretty big rifts between them in the past but right now they all seem to be getting along fairly well, still argue from time to time but usually make up again eventually.

These days now that my parents and I are older we get along much better. I literally used to go months without seeing them and we lived in the same city. Then I became very ill and had to spend the better part of two months in the hospital and they were there every day. It kind of makes you realize that life's too short to bear a grudge against someone you love. Unfortunately, my brother I have never gotten along with and never will. Makes me sad. He's such a @!&@! he can't help himself. He teaches fifth grade and apparently isn't too bad. But for some reason neither one of his sons have anything to do with him. Guess it isn't just me. He's a few years older than I. You'd think that it would be cool to have an older brother to look out for you but instead I may as well not have existed. Unless I did something wrong. He was such a narc too. It was like I had an extra parent sometimes. A parent that was only concerned with pointing out any flaws he may perceive.

Yes and no.

I am very close with my mom's side of the family. I get along with my cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents very well. I am not as close with my dad's side of the family since they all live in different states, but I get along with them. I also get along with my step-mom's family. The only family member I don't get along with is my mom. Our relationship is very strange. It's very dynamic. One day we'll be fine the next we'll be screaming at each other. All in all I would have to say we don't get along, though. She called the cops on me once (no I didn't get arrested, I wasn't doing anything illegal) and recently decided she doesn't want me anymore and told me to go live with my dad. So yeah, I get along with most of my family, just not my mom.

I get along really well with my parents and pretty well with my brother. But I really struggle to get along with my sister, mainly because she usually makes horrible decisions and argues with us a lot. She's also a bad influence, so I try not to be around her too much. I was influenced by her for something before a year ago and it didn't go well...
