After 6 matches, I was able to beat damonp. Lots of close games too. Here's the screenshots for all the games. I was player 1 each time. My Dr. Mario win, followed by his Dig Dug 2 win. Next part was Damon winning Tetris, followed by me winning Donkey Kong. For the final two games, I won Dig Dug followed by Mario Bros.

My Galaga and Donkey Kong Jr. matches were pretty embarrassing--I inadvertently lost my ship when trying to go for a double-ship for more shots, and we both struggled to win in Donkey Kong Jr. Also, lag played a factor in MattyIce's struggle, though he may or may have not had that problem in the preceding 4 weeks. He was still a good opponent, as he learns very quickly!

As Foodperson described in the previous post, we traded wins and losses through the first two sets, and he finally came away with it in the third set. He played very well in Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong 3. That was the first time I ever played Donkey Kong 3, and I tried to catch him but my inexperience with the game caught up with me. Foodperson is a very good player, and he'll probably go very far in this tournament. Even though I did freeze a couple times during some of the games, he still set the bar very high in each of the games he won, so honestly I don't think it would've made too much of a difference.

Well, me and Jordan played our match which resulted in his victory. We played Q-Bert and tetris, with him winning the first and me the second, and then we played DK jr and balloon fight with him winning both. Guess I should have been a little more aggressive on balloon fight, but I wanted to keep the match fairly clean. Certainly looking forward to the next NES tournament.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
