Um, I can't say that this has happened to me, but I had a similar situation when I forgot my birthday, and realized the day of. Silly mistake, but, I had just woken up, so, I can't be totally blamed. But forgetting your age for 6 months? Yikes! Oh well, now you remember!

Since I finally gave up on her after about three years and decided to stay single for good, I really have no reason to care about my age anymore. All a birthday means anymore is cake, maybe ice cream, and hearing dad talk about how old I am. xD No big deal really, so why care? I guess you're right.

It hasn't happened to me yet, I still remember that I am 21-years-old, and about to be 22, but it will happen to me sooner or later, because when you get older, time goes a whole lot faster, and when time goes fast, it's hard to keep up with your age.

Not in my remembrance. But I do sometimes forget I'm in a certain year or forget I'm a certain age shortly after my birthday. I'll also have the occasional slip-up from time to time.

I am ACTUALLY 28 and yes I have done this before! People ask me my age sometimes and I have to do mental math. It's like, 'Wait, hold the phone... let me count...' and people are usually a little weirded out that I don't remember my own age! Funny part is, if I shave I look like I am only like 16 - 18, and nobody has really noticed me age at all visibly in the last ten years. I have had at least one person joke that I might be immortal and that's why I forget my age. >.>;

I turned 16 November of last year. I'm 16 but I still call myself 15 for some reason. It happens, and it's very unfortunate.

Not for half a year but I can definitely see it happening when you get older. I think at one point for a month I thought I was 15 when I was only 14.

It's definitely possible to forget it by a year or so. I suppose you have more important things to worry about ha ha.

Sometime you're only as old as you feel =p.

This happens to me all the time. Not thinking I am a different age, though. I literally forgot my real age and have to think about it for some time when someone or something asks for it. Might be because I don't really care for it, or maybe I just have age-memory problems, but I never seem to know my age from the top of my head.

(Btw, Twenty-seven isn't really old. You still have 2/3 of your live if we're going by average age, so still quite some time. Hell, 30 or 40 years old isn't even "old" anymore)

This has happened to me before a few years ago don't exactly how it happened but was embarrassing. . I don't feel 23 at all since I look like I'm 16-17.

Lumian : Oh good, someone my age who's been there. xD And I know how you feel, I actually get mistaken for a teenager at times (most recently someone guessed I was seventeen).

In fact I got my hair cut just over a year ago and the guy cutting it misunderstood me and shaved me completely bald. xD I seriously had more hair on my face (after missing only one day of shaving) than I had on top of my head. During that time I found that I looked a lot younger bald. Mom actually said I looked fifteen or sixteen...and I gotta say, she was right. Kind of freaky seeing it in the mirror honestly.

Well after I turned 19 I still kept thinking I was 18... I still keep misleading myself at times Lol... not alot but like the other day I almost thought I was 18 again ... XD and I turn 20 this halloween. My mom also does this as well and I'm sure my sister does as well. Btw 27 is not old, my brother is about that age and hes only 9 years older than me. Old is like 50 :3 Anyways don't feel bad because your not the only one

I do this all the time. I actually had to count back the years when I was signing up here because I couldn't remember how old I was when I signed up. I've said that I'm 25 for so long that I'm stuck there.

Ask anyone who knows me, though, and they'll hazard the guess that I might be 18 by now *including my own family members, NO ONE remembers my birthday!*, so I might as well split the difference, I think. XD

Even my own parents don't remember how old I am. Most of my family seems to think I stopped at age 18 and haven't had a year pass since. I still get cousins who are shocked that I'm old enough to buy M-rated games on my own. Actually, I have store employees who are shocked at that...

I sometimes think that is contributing to me never remembering my actual age. Lord above knows I hurt enough to be older than 27, but I've hurt since I was a toddler, so that doesn't count. Everyone else thinking I'm younger keeps me confused. XD

Bintsy : Well this thread has certainly made me feel better. xD I say I'm old all the time, but in all honesty I don't consider myself anywhere near being old. I would say sixty-five or seventy is around where old starts, depending on how the individual ages. Before I would have said sixty, but I know too many people in their late fifties and early sixties that are still far too vital to be considered old. I kind of consider myself young really, maybe in five years I'll change my mind about that though. lol
