Love it or hate it? Some people absolutely love all kinds of spicy foods while there are some who just can't stand spice? What kind of eater are you? Do you find yourself dumping hot sauce and pepper on your food or do you prefer to keep the spice out of your life?

I can't get enough spice, I bring my own Wasabi to Taco Bell, I dump garlic and pepper onto my pizza, and I always pour ground pepper into my soup to make it better. I've been known to drink hot sauce right out of those little Chinese containers when I was as young as six years old.

What do you prefer?

Just pointing out that none of those hot things you mentioned are hot sauce - they're just spices. Plus I wouldn't really count garlic as a spice.

You're really weird to bring wasabi to Taco Bell though. How do you find good taste in it? It's so fatally hot that I think it only tastes good on Sushi, with a dab of wasabi that you can barely even see. And it's still too hot.

The one spicy/hot thing I like is Tikki Masala sauce. They use it in Indian food and it tastes really good.

I was with my agency at a restaurant one day and somebody ordered a full bag of wasabi peas, ate one, and had to give the rest to me and it was heaven. Sometimes I do a little dip into wasabi with Doritos dynamita, I always have my wasabi with me.

I only like mildly spicy things, such as pepperoni and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. Anything more than mildly spicy I can barely tolerate. Also, even though I do like those spices, I rarely have them.

zanderlex : I dig spice. People around me may say I go crazy, but I really enjoy it a lot. It really aids in digestion and helps me get moving. My favorite brand of hot sauce is Cholula. I probably enjoy it even more than Sriracha! When I'm in a Mexican restaurant, I love to pour it in my salsa and enjoy. I do like a lot of spice. However, I'm not masochistic about it much. I won't stick a super-hot pepper into my mouth just to say I did it. I don't like spice without flavor. But I do really like hot sauce.

Whenever I'm at my favorite sushi restaurant (pretty much a "Chinese" restaurant with sushi bar), I like to mix a good amount of wasabi with soy sauce for dipping. I love to use lots of sauce with sushi. But I try not to mix in so much wasabi that the flavor of the soy sauce or sushi is overpowered.

But yeah, I have at times liked to be overprepared at Taco Bell. While I don't take my own sauce with me, I do stock up on Fire and Verde sauce when I go, and have been known to empty many packets over my food. I used to be a "Mild" guy, but I really enjoy hotter sauces now.

supernerd117 : I always have cholula when I'm at baseball games, literally half if every billboard at citi has a cholula ad, I think there's one in one of the pictures if me on my profile.

zanderlex : I would be very pleased with Citi stadium then. Cholula and hot dog sounds brilliant (although I rarely have hot dogs). But next time I do, if I have some Cholula on hand, I know what I'm doing!

supernerd117 : I never put it on a hot dog since they are so expensive there. When I get chicken tenders and fries, I always put a tin of red onions on them and then I 100% smother it in cholula.

zanderlex : That sounds brilliant. Red onions...sound so good right now. I like to load onions on pizza, especially if it has lots of meat. Onions make so many things taste better.

First of all, what's this Taco Bell thing i've been hearing about? It's not here in holland, I asked my friend.. What is taco bell?


Anyway, i'm general, I like spice for what it is, but I don't dump it on my food. But I don't put salt on my food when other's absolutely need it. I don't put a lot of things on my food.
And, yes I agree with faded.

I like spices, and I even ate sambal today (Sambal is a hot sauce, and my translator says that sambal is the same thing in UK english) On my turkish pizza, which I rarely eat, but it was great.

I absolutely love hot sauce. I put it in almost everything I eat.

Pizza, rice, soup, chips( yes I do that ), sandwiches, fries, nugget's, fried chicken, crab stick's, burger's and so on.

I use to drink a little bit of the hot sauce straight from the bottle when I was younger. My grandmother always got nervous when I did that and yelled at my mom each time. My dad is the reason why I love hot sauce so much he use to drown everything in it.

Hot sauce is love, hot sauce is life ~

When I first read pizza, rice, soup, I thought it said ice cream. I did it with chips, I mentioned that but I never tried with soup. You haven't tried it in salad yet?

zanderlex : I can see why you would read that as ice cream. xD

Ah ! That's a good idea didn't think to put it on my salad. I shall do that the next time I have it.

cnw64 : Its awesome. Have you had the Doritos dynamita? They are good, though only the Chile lemon is spicy, and if I have a salad, I get a bag of them and I break each stick into like 3 pieces and then I put them into the salad like croutons.

zanderlex : I'm not big on super spicy foods. However I do like some mildly spicy foods such as mild chicken wings. I can't really handle anything hotter than medium, which is weird because I used to love spicy foods such as hot BBQ wings from Buffalo Wild Wings, but now I can't handle that kind of stuff. It's weird how taste buds change like that sometimes.

gamerforlifeforever2 : I kind of wish my taste buds could change like that, even though I love spicy foods, its kind of like as I get older it needs to be Spicer for me to actually taste the spice, it weakens over time for me and I don't really like that, I'd prefer if my taste buds could just forget the spiciness so I could taste something strong without having to put so much in, but I'm not complaining.

I have decent tolerance to spicy foods, but I also like flavor and I think that too much spice ruins that.

So I prefer having no spices.

On the flip-side, if I'm hungry and there's only spicy food, I'll still eat.

I guess that would be Mexican food. I wouldn't mind a spicy enchilada or quesadilla.

Spicy meat or pizza wouldn't be too bad either.
