All these people getting free periods makes me sad.
The "free-est" period I get is lunch, all the way in 6th period.

I agree that school isn't hard, but it can get really annoying not having a free period. Just a break between the monotony of classes. Lunch really doesn't cut it for me because they "abolished" phones in lunch this year and after 45 minutes, that class gets boring too.
And it doesn't help that the period after is Math :/

MysteriousPanzer : I have no problem with the classes. I get to go home, and THAT'S my free period. I never had a phone, so I wouldn't understand. Also, math? What's so hard about math? Then again, I'm in Integrated Math in 7th grade, so yea.

The only time I ever had a free period in school was in the twelfth grade. I'd completed all of my gym credits the year before and didn't have to take it in my final year. Gym was the last class of the day so I'd usually just home from school early. Sometimes I'd go hang out in my shop class and help out.

I don't have a study hall period now in high school (so my only daily extra homework time is lunchtime), but in middle school I had a study hall every day.

I would sometimes do a little bit of homework, but most of the time I wouldn't because I had goofy classmates in there.

I've never had a free/ study hall period. Our day is short enough- I guess we don't need more spare time.

Even if we did have it most kids would just stay at the Tim Hortons nearby, but I'd do at least a little studying.

We have a lot of free periods here in Sweden but in turn our school days are also pretty long. Usually I just relax and play a game on my phone or even browse vizzed. Or sometimes I talk to friends or play some table tennis since we have a table tennis table outside our classroom (and there's pretty much always someone playing).

Well this will probably change since I'm starting in a completely different school now.

When I have work to do, I usually spend my time in study hall catching up on any classwork assignments I've missed or anything I need to make-up for being absent. My study halls are nearly two hours, so this gives me a decent amount of time to finish any work I need to. When there isn't anything for me to work on, I spend the time either catching up on sleep (because everyone knows about 90% of teenagers don't get the recommended 8+ hours of sleep needed) or playing games on my phone. Study halls are great, and they definitely lighten the load of material I have to do at home.

Lets see.....I would do my homework and get it out of the way with. Or I would play games on cartoon network channel back then and it was so fun...I also remember. I saw some Japanese people hovering over one computer, and I saw what they were watching. It was naruto. But, I have already seen that new episode, and I would chuckle to myself how school at times was full of surprises. That was when I was in collage. And some parts I am explaining is from secondary school. I also used to do stories poems or anything to do with crafting I used to occupy myself with a lot of things back then. So then the times I was bullied it didn't come to mind because I did things not to remind me of that.

My high school decided to add a study hall period this year, so now our schedule is slightly different. I like the study hall for a few reasons. Also, I can help other people out with their homework, especially one of my friends who likes to do his homework at the last second.

My free blocks are a bit different than they were last semester, which was a 2 and a half break between class each day. This time, it depends on the day because I have a 2 and a half hour break, an hour break, and no break days scattered throughout the week, so I can't do what I used to. I've been spending those breaks catching up on homework and using the library to print stuff since this is the only place where I can actually print out my homework's so these breaks are usually spent there instead of what I used to do with my laptop.
