Oddly enough, I haven't been into most donuts.  If I'm going to enjoy a doughnut, it's probably got to be a regular glazed doughnut, with minimal coverage. haha.

However, I do love crullers as well. The only problem with both is that they tend to leave this... filmy feeling on the roof of my mouth.

Cake doughnuts won't do for me though, because they are far, far too dry. I'd rather take the filmy sensation, than a dry mouth.

Does it have to be an actual donut with its circle shape and the hole in the middle? Whenever I go to the donut shop, I always get these glazed Blueberry fritters, and they're my absolute favorite.

Other than that, the local bakeries here have donuts (yes, with the hole in the middle) that are made with carabao milk and has chocolate frosting on top. It's really delicious!

I hate jelly filled donuts too . I have two favorites...

My first favorite, is known as the Long John. I like to have them with maple frosting on the top but it also is served with chocolate frosting or sprinkles (I like to have sprinkles on the maple frosting ). Long Johns, if you don't already know, are called Long Johns because they are long donuts. I don't know where the John part came from, but maybe the guy who invented it was named John? Whatever the reason, Long Johns are going to be my favorite for a long time .

Then there's those glazed donuts that are perfect circles. I can't stop. And I won't stop eating those donuts! They taste amazing. Sure they may be a little generic but if I see glazed donuts I feel like I must eat them!
