So my favorite Christmas movie is Die Hard. Before you criticize or say anything, know that it occurs during Christmas-time, and has several themes and quotes in the spirit of the holiday (i.e. "Now I have a machine gun. Ho ho ho.", "'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except... the four a**holes coming in the rear in standard two-by-two cover formation.") I love a good action-holiday movie; it always gets me in the mood.

WorknAtTheCrwsh : My favorite Christmas movie is the Muppet's Family Christmas, it has a lot of good laughs, a crossover with Sesame Street and Fraggle Rock, and I just love all the stuff the characters do to prepare for the holidays (the Swedish Chef trying to cook Big Bird always gets me chuckling)

By the way favorite Christmas Game is Parasite Eve, like Die Hard it takes place during Christmas so it counts LOL

My favorite Christmas movie is Home Alone and its sequel. It is a family comedy movie. It is hilarious :3. Spoilers Alert! (read at your own risk). Kevin, who is left home alone, needs to take care of his house and protects it from Bandits, who wants to rob it. Kevin does most of the job, decorating the Christmas tree, buys stuffs etc... He spends Christmas alone. Both of these movies are amazing adventures. You should try them :3!!

My favorite Christmas movie is Jingle All the Way. It's about a dad who wants to make things up to his wife and son. He tries to get his son a popular toy and ends up going on a really crazy adventure.

I love Home Alone. Great movie, and really funny. But it is only my second favorite Christmas movie, I like Elf a little bit better. It is such a funny movie and gets me in the Christmas spirit.

Come on guys the only real christmas story is it's a wonderful life. I mean it's been on for more then 20 years. Heck then the next must be the christmas story who can forget you'll shoot your eye out?    I mean my god home alone for real it was at most just a cute movie. But a classic? Hardly. But I love the topic and all the movies are good . But come on you know I'm right.

My favourite christmas movie is, without a doubt, Joyeux Noël. (Merry Christmas)

If you've never seen it, you need to. Stop whatever you're doing now and go watch it. Don't even read the rest of this post. That's how good it is.

Joyeux Noël is a movie about World War I, during christmas. It retells the true story of the ceasefire which took place in France. If you've never heard that story, it's a very tragic but very touching story. On christmas eve night, there hadn't been any fighting for several hours. The Scots were celebrating in their trench, dancing and playing music. The Germans, equally eager to celebrate, waited for the Scots to finish their song before playing one of their own. They began singing Stille Nacht (silent night). Before their song ended, they heard music coming from the Scottish trenches - One of the bagpipers had begun playing along to the Germans' singing. The singer and the bagpiper both came out of their trenches, still singing and playing music, met in the middle of the battlefield, and shook hands. The rest of the men in both trenches, including the men in the French trenches, came out and began talking to eachother. The three leaders decided to call a ceasefire for Christmas Eve and Christmas. During that time, all the men danced and sang together, without any hostilities. The next morning they all helped each other bury their dead. Unfortunately, the fighting resumed the next day.

It's a very touching movie. It shows some important things about war, and how the men fighting aren't necessarily fighting because they want to, but because they are ordered to. 

But seriously. Go watch it. If you've already seen it, go watch it again.

My favorite Christmas movie of all time would have to be the original version of  " Miracle on 34th Street " . It's a classic that never gets old and has a great story with great acting. If you've never seen it then I highly recommend you watch it. It is one of many Christmas movies me and my wife watch every Christmas together. It's also one of the only Christmas movies I can watch anytime of the year. 

tgags123 : You took my paragraph right out of my mouth . I was going to say I couldn't make up my mind between Home Alone or Elf. I'd say Elf just because it's Will Ferrell . Home Alone is right behind Elf though, it's a close call. Our family watches Elf every Christmas so it's also a tradition. Peace .

Bad Santa is my favourite. Why? Well I don't know... it has Terry Zwigof directing... It has Billy Bob Thornton, Tony Cox, Lauren Tom... and damn, I guess I can relate a bit to the overall attitude.

My favorite Christmas movie is Elf ^^!

It has been for a long time; I've watched it since I was pretty young, and it's mainly what first made me really appreciate Will Ferrell xD.

It was hilarious (goes without saying; I mentioned Ferrell, didn't I?), and it also succeeds in getting me into the Christmas spirit. I love it! I also love the soundtrack!

Surprised that no one said How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

My favorite Christmas movie is definitely Elf, Will Ferrell was very funny in this movie. I remember I use to always laugh at the snowball fight scene when I was a kid. I caught it on T.V recently and it's still good for me to watch or to just have on.

My favourite Christmas movie is Home Alone 2, I still love watching this movie, I highly enjoy it. I recommend it.

I would have to say Arthur Christmas. It was a pretty cool take on the whole santa thing and i really dug the fact of who it was directed by: sarah smith which is also the same name as my aunt...lol.
