RMJEtheReploid : I don't really play megaman that often, but I think the main theme for Megaman 2 would be my favorite song.

What do you and the rest of the global+ members look for in a local? I am trying to figure out whether or not I'm qualified for the job before I decide I'm going to apply come next apps. I have been improving on my spelling, punctuation and capitalization, and I have been trying to be more active on the forums, but I know this is far from all that is required of a moderator.

And on a side note, is exploiting the mute system in chat against the rules? yoshi keeps using it to spitefully mute me since we share an IP address.

When I look at local selections, my point of emphasis is their activeness among the community (members know you from being active around the site), their track record (any bad behavior or defiant actions), their unbiased decision making, and being able to control their emotions (this I tend to make it a make or break issue, since I don't want a mod who can't distinguish when they are talking with heated emotions towards someone, causing wrong decisions to happen). It's all of these things, plus what I read in the app of understanding the position (I read all of them before voting) and some miscellaneous things like how I feel about the member overall, their readiness, their maturity, etc etc.

And yes. He should let the chat mods know if he does it more often. As a site staff, he should know better and act like one.
