I have great memories of my first console I ever played
it was a game boy and I have only 3 games
Mario Land, Mega Man II, Pokémon Blue
I also played a lot of game boy titles but I played by trading it
the last time I use it was two years ago
but only Pokémon started because it has some water damage
so if you still having it I recommend you take care of it

The very first console that I had was the Nintendo 64. One of my cousins gave me her Nintendo 64 since it was on her shelf collecting dust. I still have it and play it sometimes when I want to use my time to set up my Nintendo 64 with my tv with the chance that I have. It gave me lots of good memories and fun with the games that I have played like Mario Party 2,3, Super Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, and so forth. This was basically my obsession when I was younger. Whenever I want to go back the classics, I can just go back to it.

The very first? Haha. It was Atari 2600. The controller stick felt like playing games with a gearshift. It would move, but not very far. Then Atari did stupid things and home console video games went bust for a little bit.

But I have much better memories of the NES, and was around when they brought back the age of gaming we still enjoy today.

I remember the first console I had, like it was yesterday. It was the Game Boy Advance, and my sisters and I had to share it. We had Pokémon: Sapphire, Pokémon: Ruby, Super Mario Bros. World: Advance 2, Hamtaro: Heart-Break, and many more that I don't want to make a whole list about. Though, my GBA2 died 3 years ago because it had teeth marks, dents, scratches, water damage, and had been dropped multiple times on tile and cement. At least I still have my PlayStation 2 with PS1 games.

My answer to this question is kind of complicated due to the fact that my memory is awful and the earliest memory i have is owning two gaming consoles those being

The Sega Genesis , or the mega drive as it was known other here 

or

The super Nintendo Entertainment system, Or snes for short lol. 

Either way they are both great consoles and i had the generic classics that you associate with each console such as sonic the hedgehog 2 and super Mario world. Which to be honest i sucked at Mario and never really enjoyed it but loved playing as tails the fox in sonic the hedgehog. 

So yeah... in my annoying case i kind of owned two consoles first

It belonged to my uncles, but they let me use it when my youngest uncle finished playing all of the games. The very first console I ever owned was a Gamecube, which I got when my dad bought me the Legend of Zelda collectors edition bundle. I spent almost every waking hour playing games ever since I got that.

If this doesn't count handheld consoles my first one would be the Wii. My parents didn't want me to sit and play games all day, they wanted me to do something more actively on a console. So I didn't have any others. I did have a Gameboy. But I don't really consider that under console. (It is a handheld console.)

Technically the first console I played was the GameCube, but I rarely ever got to play it. The first console I   actually owned, was the Sega Genesis. It was originally my step-dads but he gave it to me and I still have that same console. It's my favorite console of all time and if it were not for that system I wouldn't be the gamer I am today.

My first console was the PS1. It was in it's late years when I first got hold of it and a year or so later the PS2 was out and my Dad got that when the price dropped.

The first console I bought for my self was the Game Boy Advanced. It felt so good being able to use it whenever I felt like it and my parents hated my new lack of socialism.

I remember the first time learning about the secret flute thing in Mario 3 from that Wizard movie.
