Hey everyone, I feel proud of myself every time I make one. I want you to fell the same way.

So for those of you who don't know ANYTHING, about this; here is how to start.
 
Open a text document. Such as word pad, or notepad type just some random stuff in it.
Don't know where to get a text document? It's build into your computer. Right click your desktop scroll over new, and you'll find it.
Go to the top of the document and press the save as button.
Save the name as myfirstwebpage!.html
Save it to all files.
Now open Internet Explorer.
At the top of the browser click file then click open
last step browse for your document, and it will pull up looking like a real webpage!

www.echoecho.com/html.htm you'll learn all the basics here. If you have any questions I'll do my best to help you. I hope you enjoy making web pages just as much as I do.

I have made a webpage for my computer science class later. It is quite interesting and fun but it requires a lot of work. Lots of codes and perfection are needed to assure no errors or mistakes. I would love to make another one again but more advanced when I get a good chance to do so.

ghostfishy : Personally, I think it would be really awesome if I knew how to make a webpage besides posting documents. I have this idea for a virtual arcade that would be so sweet...but first of all I don't even have the games to put in the arcade, and secondly I don't have the skill to create the virtuall free walk-in arcade that I would love!

ghostfishy: thank you for sharing Ghostfishy. Indeed I must agree, the code is easy to make; but if you make a little mistake even if its one character. You have to go back throw the whole thing and check to see what you got wrong. Sometimes that one mistake will ruin not just one part but the whole thing. Like when you miss the html tag instead you put htmk. All you'll see is a blank page. So its easy to make it but fixing the things you get wrong not so much.


This is why I want to make a text document or some sort of program, that makes it easier to make web pages kind of like this thing I'm using right now to make a reply. I'm just amazed by this at the bottom there are these 3 buttons normal, HTML, preview. The fact that you can press a button to turn your fonts into bold and italic, is just amazing. I've been using this thing to help me I do wish there was a Javascript button, but that would be pretty crazy. I'm sure it took a long time just to make this, But anyways I basically just want to make a program like that. Something I REALLY HATE about this reply thing whatever its called is that, you cant put frames or pictures in it. I'm sure there is a way to do it but I don't know how.

I am a female just to let you know. You can tell by a person's gender by the color of their username. Sadly I only know my basics of HTML and Javascript and it's been since last year when I last touched it. Thank you for the websites when I get a chance to get at a higher level for code.

I have mastered html long time ago, still learning the little bits of what left in java, and now I am trying to learn flash. Honestly flash is scary. Such power it is just unbelievable! So hard to learn, but simple to use, and the outcome is always perfect.

Which in turn can give anyone worldwide access to your computer! This can cause massive effects such as finding out where you live. What you post on face book twitter. even EVERYTHING you type. Sometimes they can even get your social security card!!! I am an expert on making web pages but not protecting me from hackers. And I must agree making the webpage is indeed the fun part.

When I started learning HTML for layout stuff, most web searches led to w3schools.

That became my go-to site.

If webpage making is anything like layout making, it's a lot of work to make it look just right, but it's so worth it.

If I can't remember html, I can't do Javascript. Which means I have to go back and review html basics, to find out what I'm doing wrong. aaand if I can't remember Javascript I can't do other things. So I have to go back to html ALL THE TIME. My brain got so sick of going back over, and over, and over. That now it's permanently in my brain and I never forget.
