garbodor ( every Gen wunner reading this now is going to shoot me) I have 3 possible points explaining a possible environmental message in garbodor 


1.) unova (garbodor's home region ) is based on new York city and is known as a dirty city filled with pollution and GARBAGE 

2.)  trubbish was originally planned to be in the castelia sewers but was removed for unknown reasons

3.)garbodor is a poison type and is known to defeat enemies with a foul smelling liquid coming from its right hand ( which looks like a gas pump)


to me, these facts seems to prove that garbodor was created based of strange chemicals fusing with the content's of a trash bag and creating trubbish 


any additional info you would like to add?

I don't know the theories about this Pokemon but the ones that you have made are very interesting. It could symbolize pollution and how it effects the environment.

latias900 : Some interesting-to-know theories. Personally, I think Garbodor is awesome. It may not look that well but it sure is a strong Pokémon. This Pokémon should get some positive theories.

Have you watched Marriland's (YouTuber) Black Wedlocke? At the very end, he was using a Garbodor called Turkey. You don't want to believe how strong Turkey was while facing the Elite Four. In my opinion, Garbodor doesn't deserve to be called garbage, stinky trash or anything else like that. People just don't see how amazing this Pokémon can be.

These are some cool theories, And I can see them working. I actually like Garbodor, He looks pretty strange, And at first I disliked him. But He grew on me, In fact the entire Unova region grew on me.

Hmm...I have some good and some bad reviews for Garbodor:

Pros:
1. Good defense for taking shots from your opponent
2. Yes, it may be a heaping pile of trash but, look at its base stats. For being a heaping, walking trash pile, the stats for this thing are actually pretty good.
3. I would use this Pokemon:
  a. As a tank
  b. As a physical attacker
  c. As an HM slave

Cons:
1. It has pretty slow speed (could possibly be knocked out before it can make its move)
2. As much as I think it's a good Pokemon to use, overall, I would not use it in every battle

These are my takes on Garbodor.
