So after looking around, I was wondering, what kind of brand does your Laptop have? Mine is a Toshiba. It's a more expensive than I would imagine it. But yeah, it's a very good laptop.

I have a Toshiba too. I have the one from 2009 with the Harman / Kardon Speakers. Only thing is, though, is that it is old, and the fan is broken, so I have to keep the back end of the laptop propped up to keep it from overheating and crashing. I hope to get a new laptop, probably a HP or another Toshiba, which ever is cheaper when I build one online, in a year or two.

My current laptop is an HP. It has been very good since I got it last year in December. I have not really had any problems yet, and I am glad. It was not the most expensive computer, but it generally gets the job done, and I can play quite a few more games than I could with our old computer. The portability is a huge bonus, of course.

I have an ASUS. It's lasted me a year or so, but it's been really reliable, aside from some random sound issues here and there.

I have a glossy silver windows 8 Acer laptop. I don't like this laptop so I am saving up to get another one. The one I have just doesn't perform well like I thought it would. I'm not to sure what year it is but it's pretty recent since it has windows 8. I only had this laptop for 6 months and I'm already tired of it.

The laptop I have now is a hand-me-down Dell. It's nice that I have one, especially considering it was Blue Screened a few years ago, but it is super slow, crashes a lot, has horrendous battery life, and it overheats. But, then again, I'm glad I have a laptop in the first place.

Mine is a Hand-me-down toshiba, kinda like patars but not as slow and once it's on for a bit becomes almost as fast as my desktop computer.

It has no battery life so the charger has to be left in but it is still great and makes me stay up at night.lol

I have been through one laptop. It was a Lenovo, and it lasted for like a month before it already started having problems. I don't really know a lot about laptops, but right now I have a Gateway. I believe I have had it for around 3 years or so, and it hasn't given me any major problems. I mean there have been a few hiccups here and there, but nothing that's not manageable. My wife uses a HP laptop, but the battery life is horrible. When you turn it on when its fully recharged, it dies in like 10 minutes, no joke. So it constantly has to be plugged in.

I own 3 laptops, not to sound greedy, But I have this Acer aspire I use for gaming, because It's really good at It. I use a chromebook for School, and It's really convenient and I'm using It right now, and I use a MacBook air for video filming and editing. I saved up for years to get these 3 kinds of laptops, and they are worth the Back-Breaking work.

Mine is a HP computer. Being a basic laptop from walmarts in my opinion it is pretty good except for when it comes to games where I am limited to which ones I can play hugely.

patar4097 :

I have a Dell (why I replied to patar) and I won't say that I hate it because it usually works, but I would much rather have a newer one. It's also very slow, crashes every couple hours and really the only ports that work are one of the two audio ports and a USB port. It's in such bad shape that I'm surprised that I got it for Christmas and it worked well at one point. It's a Dell Inspiron 1525 which is the model after the Inspiron 1520. The Inspiron 1520 still made the weird clicking noise that you hear when old computers are on, so it's just coming into the "modern" time of computers. Honestly I try to use my desktop as much as possible because it's a whole lot better and less frustrating than my laptop. My desktop is a Lenovo K430 with 3 or 4 changed out parts. It's also only 2 years old.

I feel like this is best shared while retelling a former chat experience...

So, a few months ago, random people and I were in chat. One of these random people was like 'wouldn't it be weird if we were named after our laptops?', to which another responded 'yeah, I'd hate to be named HP or something'. Obviously, this sparked a conversation. Most of it consisted of people saying 'I'm Lenovo' or 'I'm Toshiba' or 'I'm ASUS'. Naturally, since I use a dell, what else was I to do? I simply responded with 'I guess that makes me Adele.' Needless to say, I amused myself greatly (and I think a random person or two).

I have an Acer D250 Netbook. Outdated by today's terms, especially since I got in in 2009 and it still runs Windows XP. However, despite problems, it's served me well, and I'm still typing on it.
