Note: close this if there is a thread similar to this. Hey guys, Green here with a Zelda thread! It's been a long time since I made my last poll right? Well here's the simple question: Which of these upcoming zelda games are you most excited for? Hyrule Warriors or Zelda Wii U? I'll be looking for Hyrule Warriors more because it marks the first Zelda game to have Multiplayer (Exclude Four Swords). Well it's also the first Zelda game that you can FINALLY choose another character besides LINK! (Exclude Kafei from MM, it's optional too you know). Well we don't know much about Zelda Wii U but I'll still get it of course! What do you guys wanna buy first? Hyrule Warriors or Zelda Wii U?

Hm..... a game focused around totally destroying giant hordes of Zelda enemies, or an open world Zelda game..... I like Zelda Wii U better at the moment. (I might change my mind if they add Groose to Hyrule Warriors).

1 I've been waiting for a Zelda Multi-player forever- and not four swords style either!

2 I've been waiting for a Zelda Army battle game forever.

3 The A.I. does not neccesarily suck, you can turn it way, way up via the options and make it decent. Even if it does though, It should be fun doing P vs P as commander vs commander.

The New Official Zelda Title looks good for Wii U, But I suspect it will be almost just as narrow as previous titles.

ie

No armor

Only dungeons for levels (no battles with AI assisting you against a dragon in a field, ect.)

Recycled story, with an 11 percent story change.

Basically, I'm tired of playing the same, uninnovative recycled game for so long, I would like it if Nintendo did something more Like Sonic did, actually mixing it up, and even giving us a Sonic, Metroids Prime, (That being Shadow the Hedgehog).

And with that, my rant is over.

My mind might change though if this new Zelda Game is actually not heavily japanese like Skyward Sword, and is actually different enough- even if we only do get dungeons.

Honestly though, I suspect it to be a horrible, nonAmerican Zelda, and to throw lot's of unappealing Japanese elements that are to strange.

Sorry to be such a wet blanket, but after really getting into the Sonic Series, I kinda hate how Nintendo has wasted a lot of potential with their games.

Oh, and we so need Kafie playable in this game! 3

If anything, I wish HW is available on Nintendo 3ds, since I love anything Dynasty Warriors related. *Huge Koei Fan*

It's easier to get excited for Hyrule Warriors because it is coming right around the corner and it certainly has it's merits and a fresh approach but I'm still more excited for Zelda Wii U and when it's out and compared to Hyrule Warriors I'm sure it will be a better game.

Zelda WiiU, though not by much. I've never been a big fan of beat em ups, and giving zelda one doesn't change my mind. The only big thing with Zelda WiiU is we don't know enough about it yet.

haven't been into Zelda much lately, but Hyrule Warriors sound very interesting. I'm going with Hyrule Warriors.

Not really interested in the Zelda series much but I have played the demo of Hyrule Warriors. I think it is interesting to see a change in the Zelda game series rather than just repeat the same stuff over again. It's always nice to have a change for once. Plus I like the concept and gameplay of Hyrule Warriors much more. I mean who wouldn't want to kill an army full of people by yourself?

   For some reason, Hyrule Warriors never interested me all that much. I mean, it looks kind of fun, but I am definitely looking forward to the Zelda U game coming out at this point. The open world concept to me seems like we'll see a much less linear game like Link Between Worlds, which is something that I am looking forward to.

I fail to see how Dynasty Warriors: Hyrule Edition...er...I mean Hyrule Warriors (no really I meant Dynasty Warriors: Hyrule Edition lol) could compare to the new Zelda game.

Nah, in all fairness, Hyrule Warriors definitely looks to be a cut above Dynasty Warriors, but it's still too similar for me. I'll probably try it out though, and hopefully it proves me wrong.

The new Zelda title though .. I can't believe Nintendo is finally giving us an open world Zelda. They finally listened to the fans (now if they'll just give us another one like Twilight Princess), and if they do it right, this will revolutionize the series, not to mention be a blast. I can't wait to play this one, it'll definitely be one of the Wii U's best titles if Nintendo can pull it off.
