NOTE: This thread is mainly aimed towards kids in high school or middle school (or elementary too, I guess) that still live with their parents, but I guess you adults could post here as well.

What do you do when you are home alone and you have the house to yourself? Do you throw a party? Do you invite your boyfriend or girlfriend over? Do you sleep?

I just do what I normally do. I spent a lot of time on my laptop and a lot of time on my PS3. I mainly just post on Vizzed and play NHL 14. I know, my life is sooo exciting

What do you do when you are home alone?

I know I'm an adult, but I thought I could speak to my experience from WHEN I was in high school.  

See, my parents were super uber protective.  They NEVER let us be in the house alone. I can hardly even remember two instances where they were forced to leave us home alone. One was during an emergency when my brother fell and cut his head open. I'm pretty sure I kept shoveling the driveway, freaking out about my brother's help. I doubt I thought about the fact that I was even alone, to be honest... especially since I felt his fall was my fault.    (I had thrown a snowball at his window.)

If there was another time, it was probably very brief, and I probably wasn't brave enough to do anything too out of the ordinary.  I didn't have access to technology, so I probably just wandered around or to places we weren't really allowed in the house (the basement/garage and their bedroom), and I probably got my little thrills from that.

I know, I had a lame childhood. XD

Singelli : My parents are pertty protective too, but they leave me and my brother alone a lot. They know that we can fend for ourselves and that we are losers so we won't throw parties or anything

That actually sounds like something that would be cool. Exploring places of the house that you aren't allowed to be, I mean. I kind of wish that there was a room in my house that I am not allowed to be in just so that I could check it out when my parents aren't home XD

Work, work, work on my PC game.

Play my siblings StarWars Battlefront II, Minecraft, and Mario and Sonic at the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Drink Chocolate Milk.

Oh yeah, I get on Vizzed too, but I try not to do that TOO much, or else I would be spending enough time with my family and working on my PC game!

tgags123 :  Oh no... I wasn't that brave though. XD  I mean, I know I NEVER went in their bedroom. Like... ever.  And if I went in the basement or garage, I likely was too timid to really explore it, much less touch anything.

It wasn't until I was an adult, actually, that I got the impression my parents were pretty unique in not letting their children in their bedroom.  I've been in it since becoming an adult and there's nothing odd about it at all. LOL It's a normal bedroom. I think they just liked having a space to get away, and also to hide holiday gifts, as well as things they valued and didn't want broken.

I always wanted to go in their room though. It always smelled soooo good. To this day, there's a certain smell that I associate with my mom and their room.

Sometimes when we got in trouble, they'd make us lay on the carpet, face down, in the hallway. It was akin to 'standing in the corner', but without any breath fog on the walls.  I was actually always soothed by smelling that perfume or whatever from under the crack of their door.  I learned later it was my mother's perfume. She didn't even wear it that often, so I have no idea why their bedroom always seemed to smell of it.

Mostly i just spend most of my time alone on my laptop or phone playing Minecraft PE. I only home alone for a few hours.

It's very rare for me to be home alone, since my family is somewhat strict about it, and when most of my family goes out, another relative is still at home. There were a few times when my cousin and I were left alone at home because everyone else had to go somewhere. When it happens, I just do what I normally do, which is go on computer, do work, sing, sleep, laze around, and others stuff. Nothing exciting happens

When I'm home alone, I either turn on my PlayStation 3 to watch Dragonball Z Abdridged, or I just go to the pc watching DragonBall Z or DragonBall Z Abridged, or I'm on Vizzed. :3

When I am home alone, I usually watch porn grab a soda and watch funny videos on YouTube I probably normally wouldn't be allowed to watch (not really inappropriate, but just has swearing). I normally am too embarrassed to watch YouTube when people are around anyways. I don't really know why. I guess it's more of a privacy thing than an embarrassment thing. I really like a lot of privacy, but I have to use the family computer.

Since this thread is aimed at middle school and high school students, I'll tell you what I did when I was home alone back then.

Just like you tgags, that is pretty much all I did too. I spent a lot of time either on my laptop or PC, or I was on my PS2 (because PS3 wasn't out yet). I life was really exciting back then, too On my laptop, I watched different videos from Tobuscus on YouTube. I'm a really big fan of him. He's really funny! And on my PS2, the game I played the most was NCAA Football 2004. Online play wasn't really that popular back then, but it was still a fun game to play! I played some others too, but I'm not about to list them all here.

Honestly, I usually just watch tv or go on the computer. I'm not able to go outside when my parents aren't home, which is understandable.

When I am home alone I mostly play on the wii or on my 3ds or post on vizzed on my computer....oh wait, I do that even when I'm not home alone! Most of the time when I am home alone, I just raid the fridge for something to eat and then I go to my room to do whatever I please. I try to limit the amount of time I spend on my computer or in my room so that I can spend some time with my family, or else there would be problems. Other than that though, I pretty much do the same things I normally do, even if I am not home alone. 

I always act like my family is still home, I'm not an outgoing type of guy.
I just do my thing, whether it be internet related, read a book, etc.

I will admit that I can sometimes get a little addicted to the chocolates we have, though I've never eaten more than half a box at once.

Normally when I'm home alone, I bring my PS3 out to the living room and play it on our big HD TV. It's pretty cool, also considering I'm right next to my computer too.

I go on Vizzed, watch YouTube videos, and hang out with my dogs when I'm home alone. My dogs (or just one of them) have separation anxiety so they freak out when anyone that lives here is gone. I usually try to calm them down.

I usually eat whatever I want and invite a couple friends over to play some Call of duty or Castle Crashers, yeah my life isn't exactly in the fast lane

I play video games (mostly on my laptop and 3ds but sometimes on my xbox 360 as well) and watch videos on my laptop... That's about it honestly. Don't really like watching videos around my mom, probably not because I'm embarrassed just because I'm more used to watching them in private.

I'm usually alone fairly often though has been working nights since I went to middle school so I'm pretty used to it by now.

i play games i sleep i eat i go to see my friends and talk about cool stuff and watch videos on youtube and a movie site

Well... I sort of walk around my house... naked...

Usually I play guitar and write songs. And then there's the days I just sit around and Netflix binge. And then there's the days I sit around and YouTube binge. And then there's the days I sleep binge. lol
