LeBron signed with Cleavand today. I don't know for how long or how much. I just saw it on SportCenter's Facebook page just now. That is how I found out.

To put it simply, as I don't want to repeat in full detail my other post, I expected it, and Cleveland did a good job putting together a team that LeBron could play with to bring Cleveland to championship contender status.

I think this is actually ok to be left open, considering that this decision itself is making all the sport headline news and those who are not as familiar with the NBA are probably only caring about this particular news. I say this should be left open and see what happens. I will stick with my responses in the Offseason thread though, since I want to focus more of the league's moves.

Well that was a really huge deal when that new was first announced. I found out from a guy I work with the other day. I said, guess what, Melo signed for 5 years with the nicks for over 130 million dollars. He then one-upped me by saying that LeBron was a cav again.

So Cleveland now has Irving, Bennett and Wiggins to go along with LeBron, who were all 1st over all picks.

I dunno about you guys, but it seems like Bennett is a bit out of place in comparison to those other players. Im guessing Bennett was a part of a weaker draft class? I know he was considered a bit of a surprise pick at number 1. I personally think that Tristan Thompson is a better basketball player than Bennett is, although he does have more playing experience in the nba than Bennett does. I heard the cavs are now the team chosen most likely to win the nba championship next season. I cant see that happening for another 3 or 4 years, but I do think it will happen, as long as those core pieces stay together and continue to improve their game and reach their large potential.

I can't believe he's going home, and that the fans are actually accepting his homecoming.
They hated it when he left, hated lebron, but now they love him again.

Lebron going back where he came is somewhat poetic, but I hear it's only a 2 year deal, so it might be a short term marriage. But if he does end up staying there longer, good for him. Too bad Heat just lost...all of their fans.

This pissed me off so much! My team is the Miami heat, and lebron was one of our best players! I'm still a big heat fan! I know a cavs fan and rubbed it in my face all week! :'(

pacman1755 : From what I've heard, the main reason he seems to be signing this short deal is because the salary cap is supposed to be going up after that, so he probably wants the max deal once that comes around. I don't know exactly how it works, but I think the Cavs would be able to give him the most money.

patar4097 : I think Lebron will always go where the Money is now. He has his championships, which were so important to him. I think he has finally accepted that he will never be considered better than Jordan. All he has left now is to go where the money is. 

I think that it's pretty cool, I like Cleveland better than Miami anyway, But i'm a proud Chicago supporter. I think that Cleveland can really benefit from this. I'm hoping that the cavaliers will do well.
