Hello people of Vizzed!

I am currently looking for FREE DOWNLOADABLE  PC games to play since I want to explore more into PC games as well as newer games in the future. The game genres that I play are shooting, strategy, RPG, adventure, simulation, and action. I've played Sims 1-3, Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Gunbound, Maplestory, Counter Strike, Battlefield (don't remember which version), and Diablo 2 on PC. You can probably tell that I am a bit outdated in PC games.

Does anyone have any PC game recommendations for me?
 

Well....I dunno if this will help but how about broken sword 2? Its a good game to play. But I don't know if you would like it though...that's all that came to my head, so sorry if this doesn't help much....

Free downloadable PC games that is the same levels as paid ones? That's really hard man, I mean chances that you'll never find one for weeks.

But recently, I found this game that I downloaded for free and it's called "D&D: Temple of Elemental Evil", it's a short RPG game but the amount of depth....oh my god...it's too much for a turn-based RPG, and there is a mod that extends the game's length which is amazing. Here's the download link:

Alternatively, there is an old OS for PC called DOS (I think it is an OS), but all computers nowadays don't have that, luckily I found this thing called "DOSBox", but it only launches DOS games...not programs....but that's exactly what you want. Here's the game that I Recommend:

Try playing Phantasy Star Online 2 with an English patch. There is also Rusty Hearts on Steam. The first game is an MMORPG, and I believe that could satisfy your RPG needs. The second game is, well, I can't really describe it, but it's fun. You should give them both a try. 

There are always a ton of great free to play games available on Steam. All you have to do is download the steam client.

With a service like Steam, you don't have to worry about picking up viruses/adware and stuff like that for downloading shady games off of other websites you've never heard of.

EA's origin service gives out one free game a month as well. Last month I got Plants vs Zombies and this month I got Peggle.

Some that come up from the top of my head:

Runescape: You can't not have heard of it since it is apparently the most popular mmo out there and it's browser based which means you can play it from almost anywhere! It has come a long way from where it used to be so if you haven't played it recently give it a try. Incase you haven't heard of it it's basically an mmorpg that focuses on leveling up different skills such as magic, cooking and crafting by doing different tasks. It also features a lot of different quests that unlike quests in most mmorpg's which are basically kill x of that and report back to me all have their own little story and some are completely non combat related.

Mabinogi: A very underrated Mmorpg that is very unique compared to most others and is also very animeish in it's art style. In ways it is similar to Runescape but also not quite it has a unique tactical combat system which kind of has a rock paper scissor style to it and it has a unique level up system if you're looking for a good mmorpg that is very different compared to others check this one out. Though beware it requires a download.

Pokemon Reborn: A very good fan made Pokemon game that's not the one that is on vizzed. It features a unique more darker storyline then normal pokemon games, new areas and new music and is a very long game which is striving to make every single pokemon obtainable in the game. Definitely give it a try if you like Pokemon and you're looking for something with a bit better story.

PokeMMO: A while since I played this one but basically the concept is pretty simple it's Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green made into an MMO allowing you to see trainers walking around in the world around you and lets you battle against them or trade with them it's a very fun game. Though you will need a Pokemon Fire Red rom downloaded on your computer to play it. Downloading a Pokemon Soulsilver or Heartgold Rom is also recommended as it allows a few extra features mainly allowing Pokemon to follow you around like it did in those games except you can actually choose which one in your party will follow you. It looks exactly like the original Fire Red and Leaf Green did but with a different interface so yeah another game to check out if you like Pokemon.

That's the main ones I can think of from the top of my head I might edit this post with more games if I come up with any other game I thought was particularly good.
