Davideo7 : I ran into a problem while trying to add screenshots for a game. When I try to add screenshots, there are only three available, which I took a while back. I just took more, refreshed the game page, and tried again, but there were still just the three old ones. I tried it with another game from the same system, and then a game from a different system. I even tried it on different emulators, and nothing seems to work. It seems as though I'm experiencing the same problem as UFC (that's what I gather, anyway).



To clarify, this is feedback, not a complaint. I really do want to participate in this competition though...

Awesome update! You are really making the RGR better lately and it was already so amazing! Great job david, I will make a lot of screenshots now! Adding characters to the screenshot is so nice!

Davideo7 : I don't know whats up but no games at all allow me to retrieve my screenshots and upload them, I even tried reinstalling the plugin.

David, I thought I'd let you know that my screenshots are working now.  Sorry for not getting any information to you sooner. I was going to test this morning, but it's already fixed. XD  I was trying MAME games.

David, I'm not sure if it's been reported or not, but I have noticed a glitch with the new screenshot system. (by the way, I LOVE the new method. Processes quicker, AND I LOVE the giant previews!! Thank you so, so much!)

Alright, after you add information for a shot, it drops down below the text of the submission screen, right?  And if it has a yellow border, that means you can add more info to it. Well, let's say I see a yellow bordered image, and I click on it so that I can edit it. When I submit my edit, the screenshot has now been uploaded twice.... the pre-edited version and the post-edited version.

This is going to result in a lot of clones.

Another thing I noticed is this:  Let's say I click on one of the shots to edit it, but either I click on the wrong shot or change my mind once I go to edit it.  Even if I DON'T click to submit the updates, and I just go back to the page listing all screenshots... that image still gets submitted to the game page..... just as an uncategorized image.

And finally, might I offer a suggestion?  On some games (especially with darker backgrounds), it's really hard to distinguish the shots because they're all right on top of each other. Might I suggest placing a small padding between each row and column of pictures?  A padding of around 5 pixels, even, would help.  Thanks for your consideration!

Davideo7 : Is there some sort of cp/action problem because of the update? I took a bunch of screenshots today and none of them have regiestered as actions or have paid out cp.

My problem has existed since before the update, yes. I try to avoid Internet Explorer whenever possible, so I am most definitely not signed in there. I am currently using Google Chrome. I have also tried it on Torch to no avail, but I am not positive about other browsers. 

I can't upload nay screenshots on any games anymore

I'll eventually make it possible for users to delete their own images.

Davideo7 : It was because of the computer I guess. On my Windows computer, everything worked fine. WHen I got on my Windows one, I checked and it did say that all the screenshots I submitted on my old laptop were submitted, but they were never paid out.

You guys, I just realized something. You two are having trouble with screenshots on Chrome. My brother and I were having trouble with screenshots on Opera.  I've been told that Opera is kind of like a clone of Chrome. Maybe it's just our browsers that are the problem. My brother's been using Firefox for screenshots since they didn't work on Opera, and according to him, they're working fine on Firefox.

Davideo7 :  I made a profile for a character named Gen from the game Samurai Aces, but when I tagged a screen shot with Gen in it was sent to the page for Gen from street fighter.

I have liked the update so far right now, but the only thing I would LOVE to be added is to be able to delete made screenshots.. Is that possible now or not yet?

When adding screenshots in game page, they aren't in order when trying to find the correct screenshots, sometimes it takes some time to find the that screenshot. I like that this is faster but the older was better in the way, that all the screenshots were in the right order you took the shots.

uberkoopa : When you choose 'Gen' from the list, are you picking 'Gen [Samurai Aces]' ? The game name (or franchise) should be in those square brackets.

TheJmsGamer : To delete your own screenshots? If you absolutely need something removed, contact staff.

Cactuar : I've got an update coming soon which will fix already submitted screenshots but it wont fix the order of screenshots taken but not submitted yet.

Davideo7 : Yes, I picked Gen [Samurai Aces], but it still wont put it in the right section for that Gen; it keeps going into Street Fighter's Gen.
