The first anime that I have ever seen was Pokemon. When I was younger I would watch it all the time. I later became more attached to Digimon and Yugioh, but Pokemon really brought me into it all. Of course, at the time, I did not even know what anime is, and I was younger, and thought that everything was made in the United States and what-not. I am older now, and I realize that is a bunch of crap, and I now know exactly what anime is and where it usually comes from. Although I saw Pokemon first, it did not really bring me into the world of anime, seeing as I did not know what it was. In 9th grade, however, I came across Full Metal Panic. I loved that show, and I have been watching anime very regularly ever since. So, you can look at this from either a first anime perspective, or one that brought you into the whole new world, the choice is yours. What was your first anime? 

My first was also Pokémon and didn't know it was called anime either. I also got into Digimon, Yu-gi-oh and Dragon Ball Z. Didn't get an chance to watch Sailor Moon though. I started to watch anime a little more because I saw an random episode of Naruto and it made me laugh. From that I started to watch Death Note, Eureka 7, Samurai Champloo and many others.

My first anime was Pokemon, back when it was good. At the time I watched a lot of Dragon Ball and Pokemon. They pretty much ruined Pokemon now with the new X and Y series. Dragon Ball was really good, and I still watch it

The first anime I have seen was either Sailor Moon or Inuyasha. I remember seeing Inuyasha when I was little, and my mom told me she played Sailor Moon for me to watch when I was a toddler. I didn't get into anime until shortly after I found the Japanese episodes of Ojamajo Doremi when I wanted to watch the show at the age of nine (I didn't know it originated in Japan and was an anime). After watching some episodes of it, I decided to look up more anime, and eventually I got into anime from there.

While I'm not at all 100% certain, I believe it was either Pokemon or Yugi-oh. Both the anime and the card games were big parts of my childhood.

My first anime was Pokémon as well. I watched it many times when I was younger, now it's rarely on TV and I do not like it that much anymore. I started many years later on Inazuma Eleven though when it started airing in the Netherlands.

There's the anime i very faintly remember watching like Naruto and inuyasha a loooooooooooooooong time ago.

But a while back in january I watched the Persona 4 anime and loved it. Then in April (i think) I watched it Again. 
And i was interested in Sword art online because it sounded cool! And after that I Binge watched so many things in a row!

I still dont know what was my first between the two though.

first anime I watched was pokemon, I cant really say anymore, that was about it. my fist experience with the anime was when my mom bought me a whole bunch of pokemon episdoes/movies on dvd.

cnw64 : Ahhhhh. I totally forgot about DBZ. I used to love that when I was younger. Looks like you got into some good stuff immediately after Naruto though. I realize now that I ended up going into a lot of crappy anime immediately after FMP.

PixelBrick : Yeah, Pokemon really has seemed to deteriorate lately. Not so much game-wise (though in some ways, it has). I did stop watching DBZ though. :3

AriaAngelDream : Ah, how could I forget about Inuyasha? Pfft. Silly me. Your trip seems a bit more exciting than mine though. I was just bored one day, and I waited much too long for my obsession to take hold. You started at nine, and myself at fifteen. What a difference.

Gamin'Gal : Ah, the card games. That brings back so many good and bad memories. I once remember losing my Charizard to a scamming kid. Worst mistake of my card days. My cat also peed on every single card I owned from both Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh!, so that kind of ended the old days. Sporadic anime TV watching, yeah! True that though, as your tastes change anime is bound to look worse and worse as the years go by.

juuldude : Well, it has gotten worse, so it might be a good thing that it is not on TV as much. Besides, the Internet is usually there for your anime-watching needs.

sop281 : Yeah, that is one of the reasons I love the internet so much. I heard that everybody says Pokémon has gotten worse, how does that come? I haven't seen any of the new episodes, all I know is that things get more "random" instead of what you would expect.

My first anime was pokemon, Second dragon ball z, Really close to eachother, You see I knew about the DBZ games earlier than I knew about the pokemon anime. I did not know that there was a DBZ anime until a week later. i was like.. 3 year's old.

The first anime I ever got into was Pokemon like many others and it then later led me to start playing the card game and the video games.
I've also watched alot of animes like Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Bakugan when I was younger but I didn't start to really get into animes untill I was older and learned about streaming sites such as gogoanime.

Oddly enough the first anime I watched on one of these sites was Naruto Shippuden. The reason I say it's odd is because I hadn't watched the original Naruto series (and I still haven't well at least not the entire series). Stopped watching it around the time when *spoilers alert*

Naruto was learning how to control the nine tales form and use it's power. Reason being because my interest in it had gone down as I felt the show has dipped in quality and there were too many fillers which while not always bad were completely uneccesary.

I'm suspecting I might try getting back into it sooner or later but as it stands right now I don't really have any plans to do so.

Right now I don't watch anime as much as I used to my latest anime that i've been watching being Hetalia which has sort of been an on and off thing. I'll probably get back into it though when I get bored enough and don't have anything else to do lol.

Well if you want to get technical.

The first anime i watched was Yu-Gi-Oh Gx.

The first anime i watched (When i was actually aware that i was watching an anime) Was the original Naruto series.I had the biggest bro crush on Sasuke ever.He was one of my favorite characters of all time.Then Shippuden came out,and i realised that he was a whiny little brat who cannot decide what he wants..Hurts to get older.

My first was Pokemon, I was four years old when I had first started watching it back during the first few months of its first season, though I didn't really get into it until I was about 7 or 8.

My 1st was also PoKeMoN. Back then, I didn't like the battles like I do today. I started watching when I was 4 or 5 & I still enjoy the PoKeMoN anime to this day.
