Everything sounded different from X-2 - XIII-2 and went back to it's roots in XIV. Before that they all sound the same just different variations of it. I don't have a favorite here but I like XIII-2's wictory theme but the very first victory theme is good as well.

I liked FF4's, FF6's, FF7's (quite a bit actually), FFX's, and MAYBE FFXIII-2's Victory Fanfare.

I would've said FFVII earlier but then I thought it's a bit biased since it's my favourite game in the whole series... And then I remembered the theme in FFX! The victory fanfare is pretty much the same as in the earlier games, but the music afterwards is the best!

FFXII has the best in my opinion.



There is just something nostalgic about this. I only started FF7 properly a few weeks ago but I guess the theme must have stuck in my head ever since I played it on the PS1 when I 4 or 5 and I have no idea what I was doing!

I would have to go with FFVII's fanfare, its not my favorite FF game, but its the most memorable one I've heard outside of games themselves. Playing the victory fanfare was probably the funniest part of Advent Children, I seriously LOL'd.

I think that FF9 has the best fanfare it is a really strong piece of music, however FF7 has my favorite fanfare simply because of how well it fits the mood of the world that you are in with its strong metallic and electronic notes.
