Are you struggling to concentrate in school because this school year is near the end? Is that affecting you? How? I am a little bit. That is affecting me by making it more difficult for me to memorize the material that I am taught and causing me to be more stressed out than I usually am.

It is also making it more difficult for me to concentrate. However, it does no stress me out. In fact, it is making me feel better, knowing that there is an end to the madness (no matter how temporary that end is). It is becoming more difficult to memorize materials, but that is only because I ended up slacking off, and ended up not learning some build-up material earlier on in the year. Besides, it is not like we have all that much material to cover, for the most part. Except in my APUSH class. Oh jeez. Our test is on the 28th, and we still have 8 chapters left to cover. We are currently covering the time that FDR was president, as well as the Great Depression. The odds are that we will likely not finish the whole textbook in time for the test, so we will have to do outside reading to get the information from the end of the book, as well as study the information that we learned earlier on in the year. Anyways, I also tend to not do a lot of my homework nearer to the end of the year. Of course, that is only at home, and I usually manage to finish it in school (whether that be on the day it was assigned, or the day it was due, finished before the period we have to turn it in), but it is killing me on the inside. For real. 

I am definitely having this problem at the moment. My classes end next week but afterwards, I have finals. Technically, my last official day is when I finish my last final. The worst part is that my professors are piling me up with work during this last month of school for me and I feel so unmotivated and lazy. It's quite a bit more difficult to memorize information now especially I'll be free from school in a few weeks. It's a big struggle coming back from spring break and then fighting for summer vacation if you ask me.

This tends to affect me towards the end of the year because summer is right around the corner and school is winding down to just a few weeks, and you really are just in a rush to get it over with when you should really buckle down and make those last few weeks count and finish off the end of the year strong. I can pass all of my sols without studying, with the exception of math which I am a little shaky in, but I am going to study and practice for all of them anyway. I am going to do my best to make the most out of the time I still have before exams. Summer will be here soon enough and I have a whole 3 months to enjoy it.... 

Quite possibly the opposite for me. This school year is my last (Next I'm going to go to High-school) and I haven't gotten the best scores this year. Not bad, just not the best. So these two last semesters I've been trying to get my scores up, to help me the best I have.

If this was any other year, than yes I would be having that problem.

In my case, it's not so much as a problem with my concentration it has more to do with the fact that I've worked hard all year to maintain about a A-B- average (with the acceptance of a C in Algebra functions) and I'm to the point in the year where I don't have to take any of my final exams(except Math) because of my grades and the fact that I passed my schools "S.O.L's (which really do nothing for the student it only makes the school and teachers look better but god forbid if you fail they might just fail you for the year), it's gotten to the point where I'm done with school work, during class I mostly goof off or listen to music and basically chill out and enjoy my self, I've basically stopped doing work and have been focusing on searching for a summer job and chilling with friends and trying to see if I can get this girl to date me(that's a story for another day tho). 

So overall I'm not having trouble concentrating in school because it's the end of the year, I'm just not trying anymore in school because I've passed all the courses I've needed to and mostly all the "Standardized tests" I need to pass and it's the end of the year so I'm just relaxing care free.

I had a couple times when I was in school where near the end of the school year, I loose a lot of focus and concentration on the rest of the school year, especially from my Birthday on (April 27th - the last day).
Because I think the reason why this is the case because I didn't have to worry about going to school for 3 months, and during my Senior year in 2012, I though the school year never ended, I was so focused on finally ending my school year once and for all. I still manage to try and keep up my grades, but it's really hard because in a few weeks, you don't have to worry about any of that stuff anymore.

Dang it. All of these 100 word posts make me feel bad about mine. It is a yes or no.

Not at all! I'm feeling much more focused now, actually. I'm motivated hecause I'm getting close to the final stretch, as it were.
