Those who know me (aka like 2 people) know that I prefer video game music over any type. Does it have to do with my obsession with video games? Or is it simply that video game soundtracks are better? That's a mystery to me.

Anyhow, I was curious what your favorite video game song is! It could just be a song or it could be your favorite full OST for a video game.

I made a list of my favorite songs about a year ago. Since then, I have discovered many new great songs. Some of them (including old favorites) are:

A lot and of most of them I don't know the names. All the music for the DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi series is amazing. The inazuma eleven games also have great soundstracks..... So many more....

I love mega man music. My number one favorite mega man (classic) theme is Wily Castle. My Favorite mega man X(I'll choose 1 8-bit, 1 old PSX, and 1 new PSX/PS2 and 1 PSP) theme is (8-bit) Variable X, (old PSX) Vile's theme, (new PSX) X vs Zero theme (one New PS2) Sorrow (megamanX8) and Variable X (Mega man Maverick hunter X)

My favorite video game music would be the Bridge Zone remix from Sonic Generations. First time I heard it I really liked it.

Well, I like a lot of video game music. If you play any Tales game, you really cannot go wrong. They have great soundtracks, and the opening themes really stand out on their own, too. The Persona series also has a very strong list of songs. I do not remember any of the names of course, but the songs from Persona 3 (I played Portable) and Persona 4 (I played Golden) were especially good. The Yakuza series also has some amazing opening songs and battle music. I also like the music from the Uncharted series, and the Hatsune Miku games. Who does not love some nice Vocaloid every now and again? 

Too many video game music's to count. My favorite is probably Lavender Town Theme in Pokémon FireRed. Such a generic response, I know. But I just love the creepy tone and theme it has going on, I won't deny. It's also like, the only one I know the name of. Haha.

There's a few from other games, like the tracks in the game Sonic Riders, especially the little cartoonish introduction it has before you go to the start screen. I really like that song as well.

But in actuality, there probably are too many for me to count, and name. People do really well when it comes to making video-game tracks, 'cause many people want to hear appealing sounds when playing things, and watching things right?

Can't forget Bowser's Theme from Super Mario 3D World and Paper Mario's Lavalava Island either, I suppose.
Then there's Gohdan's Theme and the Credits theme from Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD
And, just to conclude, I'll put Doesn't Matter (Sonic Adventure 2 Battle), Chosen One (Shadow the Hedgehog), Team Chaotix, and This Machine (Sonic Heroes)

Listen to these. VVVVVV has the best soundtrack of any game or game series I've ever heard.

The best ones are Pushing Onwards, Potential for Anything, Predestined Fate, Pressure Cooker... Pretty much all of them are amazing.

Super Mario 3 songs and Sonic CD Japan songs are the ones I like the most.
