Everyone has a different vocabulary and some people use words that another find annoying, childish, bothersome, rude, or any other adjective that you can think of.

My question to all of you is, what is that word, or what are those words that people use that just makes you cringe; that when you hear them say the word, you have to interrupt them and say dont say that word!

For me, the words are tummy and belly. Just say stomach. I feel like Im talking to a 3 year old when people say those words. Especially when an adult says them. They seriously bother me and I will call someone out right away when I hear them being used in a conversation, even if the convo is involving a serious manner or if the person is upset or something. It just irks me to hear those words being used in any fashion.

I don't have a problem with belly, but I agree with you on tummy. What I really don't like is when people refer to Call of Duty as "cod". I don't mind when people abbreviate it in text, but when people say it aloud, I just hate it. I don't know why.

I used to be the same way with belly and tummy.

It used to bug the snot out of me when I'd hear someone say either word. Even when I was around 4 and 5 it bothered me.

I've gotten over it in the past couple years, but yeah. ^-^;;

You may think doing stuff like that is clever, but tdv has been happenning for years and they have seen people do stuff like that all the time to try and get an edge. My advice to you is, keep it straightforward and you wont get in trouble... dont want to be disqualified now, since that would make a days worth of work a waste.

I am so sick of people saying hashtag everything, I know it is used for twitter or whenever you take a selfie or whatever, but I really don't think it needs to actually be said before something else. Like some people will be like hashtag lunch, hashtag sleep or something completely weird and ridiculous, and I just don't see the point of it in general. 

Another one that drives me up the wall is or naw, yes, it might be funny the first two times, but people overuse it for everything, like: Can  I borrow a pencil? Or naw? 

Did you do the math homework? Or naw? 

If it is used once or twice to be funny, I don't have a problem with it, but then people start using it after every sentence and it just starts to get annoying. So those are some words that make me cringe.

Personally for me, the two main words that just make me cringe and disgust me is, moist and rust. I have bad memories with rust, and just the word moist is just, I don't know, disgusting.
