Maybe Nintendo will get some new management for this site. The old management was TERRIBLE! We never got any new features. People got banned left and right for the tiniest mistakes. Horrible, absolutely horrible.

This is like the second time I saw you making this April fools prank, and now me seeing that you do this every April fools day....... maybe I'll get the hang of those April fools pranks and not believe it!!

After experiencing last year's April Fools joke, I knew David has some intentions of making somekind of joke on April 1st, and he sure has, and I think this is just great, I can see some of the non-posting newbie's reaction to when they seen this if they joined Vizzed after April 1st, 2013 and though this was real.

(in all honesty, I wasn't fooled until I read the announcement. After watching the video, I knew it was unlikely but possible. Reading the announcement kinda got me for a minute or two, I admit. It probably has something to do with my lack of awakeness, but still. Well done with the announcement, and with putting the effort into the video.)

I remember the one I fell for was years ago when I was pretty new. David said he lost to another user (jigsaw?) in a supersmash bros. fight where the winner would win vizzed. At least I think that's what happened... correct me if I'm wrong.

You really had me going. This was the first thing I saw when I logged on today and it really sounds like something Nintendo would do. Nintendo seems to be spitting in the face of all of its fans and really every gamer so I was totally fooled by this.

I noticed last night that today would be April fools so i was wondering what you would pull this year.

   I know better than to fall for this, David. I was laughing at the fact that I knew a lot of people would fall for it though. By the way, that Vizzed fighting game coming to the Wii U trailer looked really good! I think this was a good one this year.

Wow at first I didn't even think that was even real but as a joke?  Oh man that is just both scary and funny at the same time due to how the video was clearly fan-made XD.  But is it going into development, Vizzed Flash Bash?

patar4097 : I chose this prank over the ones I had planned to do hoping that this would spark interest in the Vizzed Flash Bash game that began development many years ago but never got anywhere near complete due to lack of funding. I spent about 2 days making the video and had a lot of fun doing it.

steel_attacker : It'd be less systems, we pretty much have all the retro Nintendo systems.

Blubcreator : I personally thought this was my best April Fools prank yet, I actually invested a lot of time into this one. The Nintendo prank from years ago I said that Nintendo was shutting down the site, not buying it out. Also, this is the first time I've made a YouTube video to go along with a prank.

Barathemos : That was a far better way of wording it.

geeogree : I don't think it's possible to fool the veterans that have been around for years lol.

Awesome-Kid : I believe this was the 11th year I've pulled a prank like this.

mrfe : Maybe I would've fooled more users if I hadn't mentioned Nintendo buying the site and would've just stuck with the YouTube video lol.

Light Knight : To be honest, I don't even remember all my pranks lol. You can follow the chain of links from my first post to find out if that was a prank but it doesn't ring a bell.

NES59 : Vizzed Flash Bash hasn't had any development in many years but this could spark interest. I think the trailer demonstrates the potential of Vizzed Flash Bash and could help me find investors. Heck, I could even put it on Kickstarter but I'm not so sure if it would get taken down or not due to having licensed characters. Of course the game would always be free and never cost money so that could potentially help me avoid some legal issues.

hehe Almost believable, if the site was legal I might buy it. Don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with this site, makes playing ROMs easier

I saw nintendo in the announcement and already knew it was an april fools day joke.  A better one would be using some lesser company like Game Stop who also own Kongregate a flash game website.

Good effort though!  Loved how you use a video to try to sell the joke!

Well, this is actually my first time seeing an April fools prank on vizzed. (Yea, I was an inactive newbie for a long time the first time I signed up)

I somehow already knew that there was going to be some type of April fools prank related to the ownership of this site before even seeing this. 

Well, the prank was way too obvious but most April fools jokes are obvious anyways. It's always fun to see a site owner joke around here and there. (I wish I can see the reaction of newbies who actually might have believed this. )
