This is a thread for sharing your personal quotes, ones you made and use not ones someone else has said. Now I have ton of quotes but I will only share one at a time.

Straight to the point and obvious:

"If you don't like something in your life, make a change."

One of my all time favorite quotes comes from Keith Olbermann.

"The world bursts at the seams with people ready to tell you you're not good enough. On occasion, some may be correct. But do not do their work for them. Seek any job; ask anyone out; pursue any goal. Don't take it personally when they say 'no' — they may not be smart enough to say 'yes.”

I'm either going to be loved or hated for this, but:
"War. War never changes."
I like this quote because it's kind of true.

One I can honestly say I have not actually heard anyone else say, and that I think is original: "Even if you are the best, anyone can beat you". I feel like it applies to many situations, and I originally "created" it when I was playing games with my friend one day. Imagine being a pro gamer, the best in the world, thinking that no one could ever stop you or take your place. Suddenly, out of nowhere, this new challenger comes in to play a quick game against you, and you lose. You sit there dumbfounded and wonder what you could have done wrong. It isn't that you aren't a good player, it's just that skill isn't the only factor in deciding an outcome. World records are another example, even though you or someone else may hold the world record, someone else can come in and swoop your title away. So, I do believe that the quote is both original and apt for many situations.

Genesis - Oh my gosh. That last one is nothing short of epic, man. I am seriously going to use that one.

How about these light hearted game quotes:

"Three to five button combos to do one special attack? The result is my guy looking like he's doing some Hip Hop dance moves before he throws a fireball"


Or a simillar one that you might recognize:

"Forward Forward Back, Down Down Down, and a High Punch. And that's how we do the fireball dance" Both expressing my hate for tournament fighters. lol

A serious quote that means a lot to me (I'm pretty sure I made it up) :

"The harder a lesson is to learn, the harder it is to forget".

Basically it means that the life lessons that hurt us the most and cost us so dearly are the ones we'll never forget.

Meh, I don't quote that often. Here are some that I say sometimes.

"HADOKEN" *
"EMILYYYYY" *

* Wouldn't technically consider them 'quotes', but I do tend to scream them, usually when I'm with a friend (real life). I scream 'HADOKEN' when I'm winning something and 'EMILYYYYY' when I'm losing. HADOKEN was random, but EMILYYYYY has meaning behind it.
