 Finally got the PSX item as some know that I have been trying to get for what seems like millenia. Anyways, after putting in somewhat over 50 hours already in Suikoden and Vandal Hearts 2, my question is... What is your favorite PS1 game that the site has to offer? I'm looking to play another game soon, and wanted to find out some hidden gems that I would want to play. Here's some info to help. I like role playing games, and as long as there is a good storyline to it, I'm willing to give it a shot. Let me know if you have any good ones to mention! Thanks!

I didn't really get a chance to play too many PSX games before I got banned and then sold it when I got unbanned, but I thought that Klonoa: Door to Phantomile was pretty good. So was Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

But I will answer your question: My favorite PSX game is Megaman X4.  It's hardcore, and that's why I like it.  It's challenging, has great gameplay and bosses, and you can play two different ways.

I have 2 favorites.

Oddworld Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus are my favorite ps1 game out of all of them. These some really amazing side scrolling platforming games.

I'm not sure if its on the emulator because I don't have the ps1 thing on my Viz account

For some reason, my favorite PS1 game, which also happens to be my favorite video game of all time, is not avaiable on this site. However, I am going to go and agree with TheFadedWarrior on picking the Spyro game. I actually love the game so much that I still play it today, whether it be as a PSN title, or here on the computer. I don't really know much about other PSX titles that can be played here.

That has got to be Silent Hill. The second Silent Hill was amazing, and many consider it the best in the series, but I'm gonna say the first one is my favourite. It has the most likable character, and it gave the biggest "what the heck just happened!?" feeling to me. 

And no, Harry, we haven't seen a little girl with short, black hair.

It's a hard decision between Final Fantasy 7 and Spyro the Dragon. 
While spyro was just a ton of fun to play I think FF7 pushes into the lead because of the amazing depth and atmosphere. The cutscenes in that game push the PS1 to the limit and the battle system is the best i've seen in a turn based RPG.
