I used to use caps lock, then I started having to type business names in my we page design class, and now shifting feels much more natural, and definitely much more efficient.

Shift, not because I hate Capsolock even id it is more useful, but every caps-word I write I am using shift and nver used capslock. If I use capslock, I will start typing words holding down capslock!

I only use cap locks because using shift just seems weird to me. I find it really easy to just press caps lock two times to get caps and get rid of it.

Yeah I find caps lock to be annoying because it capitalizes entire sentences when I only need one word and sometimes I will end up clicking it over and over again until I get normal letters because i don't look down at the keyboard when I type and sometimes I don't know if it is on or not. It just feels a lot more natural and easy to use rather than pressing caps lock once to capitalize a letter and another time to turn it back to lowercase, that is the part that annoys me most about it....

Definitely shift it is a lot faster to hold shift for about a second than tap caps twice unless you are doing something in all caps. Plus if you type with your left hand you have to move your arm more losing time to press caps because there is no caps on the left side of most keyboards.

I use shift as well, Though if i decide to write some massive paragraph in CAPITAL LETTERS. I probably would use the caps lock just so i can use all of my fingers to type... well 7 of them anyways,.,, One of them is pretty much impossible to type with ..

Ha I thought I was weird for doing this but yes I use caps lock instead of shift all the time. I'm a reasonably fast typer so I can quickly press caps lock then press it again. It's easier for me than actually holding down the shift key then pressing another button. And if I have to I can just keep it on and WRITE OBNOXIOUS CAPS LOCK SENTENCES. I just find it easier than shift so caps over shift for me.
