Greetings Vizzed and welcome to the very first VCS - CP Edition Team Competition!

For this time, it will be Staff VS Non-Staff. That means there are only two teams! (For example I'm a Site Staff so I'm in the Staff team, Eniitan is a Trusted Member so she is in the Non-Staff team.) For short, the people who aren't Staff (Newbies, Normal Members, Trusted Members and Elites.) need to face all of the Vizzed Staff. (Site Staff, Local Mods, Global Mods, Admins and the Owner.) Lets see who get the most points this month! ~

Well then next are the prices. > The best part of this post I guess.

Looks good, for the first time ever the entire staff will be on a team lol. This will be very interesting.

February 1 ~ Results.

Non-Staff ~ 10 + 9 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 5 + 4 + 3 = 52 Points.
Staff ~ 2 + 1 = 3 Points.

February 2 ~ Results.

Non-Staff ~ 10 + 8 + 6 + 5 + 3 + 2 = 34 Points.
Staff ~ 9 + 7 + 4 = 20 Points.

Total Points until now ~

Non-Staff ~ 86 points.
Staff ~ 23 Points.

Well this is interesting! Team Non-Staff has taken a big lead! I wonder if Team Staff will catch up? Maybe when some of the Staff Team use their special weapon? It's still the start and anything can happen!

I have a feeling that Team Non Staff is going to dominate. They have a lot more people than us, and they have more motivation since they can win a staff role.

TornadoMudkip : Make sure that you do not count points for users that get DQ'd.

tgags123 : Of course not. I look to your results first. Then I make my results to be sure I won't count DQ'd users.

Ooh! I can already tell that the non-staff are going to dominate this, though. For one, there are much more competitors. The other reason is mohammed and yushee. (I would have said me, but I don't feel like it... heehee)

But he's right, it's great to see all the activity and all, it's a big boost to the site's content, because staff does a consistent job every month with what they accomplish.

The difference between staff and non-staff/new staff are that the staff know how much work they can do each month, and stay within that ballpark so the expectations stay within realistic territory.

(It also helps that in total, there are only 18 site staff, 12 locals, 3 globals, 2 admins, and an owner, and that most of the people above site staff level are unlikely to get a high amount of CP simply because the CP tends to help out the Site Staff more than the Forum Staff)

rcarter2 : They have more CP because they can do more.  Yeah, that is true. But with staff doing normal, they will get some. A few staff may compete just because, but when that staff position was offered, many of us started to want it bad.

February 3 ~ Results.

Non Staff ~ 10 + 6 = 16 Points.
Staff ~ 9 + 8 + 7 = 24 Points.

Total Points until now. ~

Non-Staff ~ 102 Points.
Staff ~ 45 Points.

The not-caring Staff Team got the most points for this day. < Thanks to much DQ'd Non-Staff members. I wonder if the Non-Staff team gets very much points if many are DQ'd?

Barathemos : No mystery that the prize has sparked a lot of activity. In all honesty, I remember when I first became staff. It was before the CP system, but I did a crap load of work. At first, it seemed like nothing. But eventually, I realized that the amount I was doing was just not feasible to keep up. I definitely had to find that workable ballpark range. Especially since I graduated college and had to function in the real world. So even though this month is a competition, I find it better to just stick with my usual routine. Although, this also happens to be what is going to be the most stressful month of the semester.

rcarter2 : Staff might win from the DQs? Ouch. Though, I doubt everyone would get themselves DQ'd again after that day where me and like 4-5 other users got DQ'd thanks to a few ratings. I doubt the non-staff are foolish enough to get them selves DQ'd again after that day. Not a chance! XD

Well, Anyways, From what I can predict here, I think the non-staff will win this thing, but anything is possible. Despite the staff members having loads of CP advantages and more actions than the non-staff, we still greatly out-number the staff. And, the non-staff is more encouraged to compete for the staff position reward. (Including me. lol). Though, I do find it ironic how the reward for the top 3 is a staff position after the non-staff were a team against the staff members for CP..

This is how I see this competition:

Non-Staff : "We have an army."

Staff : "We have a tRIUNE."

tgags123 : If tRIUNE and some of us wanted to compete, I'm sure it could at least be interesting. I mean He has an insane amount of CP and myself and rcarter2 have almost 25k.

The thing is, that there is only a handful of us that do this on a regular basis, and there are a ton of non-staff that probably are motivated to try and win. Not only that, most of us that have a lot of CP on staff, also work during the day ;-)
