My name is Nathan, and i'm here to ask you an important question... What Legend.... IS THE BEST LEGEND?! We all know Arceus is the strongest but in your opinion which legendary Pokemon would you say is the best?

In my opinion Darkrai. He has everything! He has the looks, the strength, the speed and  (Best of all) THE MOVES! I mean bad dreams, Dark pulse, Dark void, Ominous wind and Nightmare? He's way too epic!

So in your opinion, who is the which legend???

The best legendary Pokemon to me is Mewtwo. The movie, Mewtwo Strikes Back, really had an impact on me and I still enjoy the movie today. Mewtwo is a very powerful Pokemon with awesome psychic powers and it can talk to humans! Plus his own quote got me very inspired: I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

I still love Mewtwo til this very day!

I'm gonna be different and vote for Giratina, especially due to Platinum version. It's a large, ghostly dragon that's apparently trapped in some other dimension for violence. Plus, it pretty much saves the world due to pulling Cyrus into the distortion world with it. Kinda helps that it has two different forms that do different things, and pretty much just looks great in general.

Well I never use legends very much but if I had to choose my favorite it would be Zekrom because where in anywhere are you going to find that awesome of an appearance. I also used it a little in black and white and it was pretty powerful. My second favorite would be Yvetal but it does not look as awesome but it still does look pretty cool.

I will choose Mew. It can learn good and powerful moves and also is able to transform into any Pokémon as possible so that makes it even more useful.

Giratina. Why? Because Giratina is freaking awesome. Why? Because. Giratina is a ghostly dragon centipede that lives in another dimension and has the incredible power to make portals to that dimension, which alone earns him #1 legendary. This guy is just terrifying. Giratina strikes immense fear in those who are near him.

He also has a whopping three special abilities. One of them, of course, is levitate which comes with all Ghost-type Pokemon. Another one of them is Telepathy, which makes Giratina immune to attacks that the trainer's other Pokemon use in double or triple team battles. So, for example, if the two Pokemon you have out are Giratina and Cloyster, and Cloyster uses Self-Destruct, Giratina will not be hurt by the attack. The last ability? Pressure. Pressure actually doubles the PP used by the opponent's Pokemon. Even if the opposing Pokemon misses the attack, they still lose 2 PP instead of 1 PP.

To me, the best legendary is Rayquaza. I like it so much because it was so powerful and it just looked so cool. Whenever I played Emerald, I would zoom through the game as fast as I could just so I could get it and battle with it. If Rayquaza were to get some sort of epic mega evolution, then it would be unstoppable and anybody who gets it would basically be unbeatable.

Stats wise I'd say the best is Arceus. I mean, he's kind of a god pokemon who apparently created most of the pokemon/universe (i think). He's also got a sweet ability that lets one of his moves become any type he wants based on whichever plate he's holding.

Buuuuut I don't really care about stats. My personal favorite is Lugia. I love the combination of Psychic/Flying and the second pokemon movie was kinda my favorite since childhood.

Best is a vague term if you ask me.
The most powerfully influential pokemon would have to be Mew, as Mew is the original.
But, as far as the best in my own opinion, it is definitely Ho-Oh/Celebi equally. Ho-Oh because he was always my favorite as a kid, Even when I had both birds and all the legendary beasts, all I wanted to use was Ho-Oh.
Also Celebi because he's a time lord pokemon.
Best is a vague term if you ask me.

Its stats and move pool are also very good as well, even the typing of dragon and ghost is cool and unusual. Rayquaza and Lugia are both close as well because of their awesome design as well as their incredible stats, there are a lot of legendary pokemon that I think are cool for several reasons, but this would probably be my top 3 list of the best/coolest legendary pokemon.
