I missed a several days last November for being really sick with bronchitis, so I really had a reason to not be in school. Which leads me to my question, when was the last time you missed a day of school? Why did you miss it, for sports? sickness? or just playing hooky?

The last day I missed a day of school was friday of 2 weeks ago before christmas break, I wasn't feeling good and I didn't want to go, but I ended up going at the end of the day because I had an exam test and essay for my ap class that would count as 2 zeroes if I didn't take them before break. Not sure if that counts or not, but I missed most of the day. Save maybe an hour and a half. XD

Bronchitis can be rough. I got it right as exams started, and it hit me so bad I couldn't stop coughing long enough to fall asleep.

But I think the last time I missed an entire day of classes was when I had a job interview to go to. It was the only one that I skipped any class for (I've only had 3, so it's not like I'm interviewing all over the place), and it's the only one I didn't hear back from at all. Before that it was when I skipped to go to the career fest.

Of course, there were a few times when I'd skip one or two classes during the day to work on an assignment, because it was more important than the class I had. But I went to some of my classes those days, so that doesn't count.

I would probably have to say my 8th grade year sense that was the last time I was in public school. I was very sick and could barley move because of a crick I had in my neck. I am homeschooled now so missing days really doesn't count as long as I keep up with my online work.

The last time that I did this was last Wednesday, the last day before Easter Break began. I was sick all week, so when I woke up, I felt too weak to go to class that early in the morning. I did go late in the afteroon though because I had a meeting, but I did not go to class that day.

I have not, yet, missed a single day of school this year. I have been pretty luck to not come down with anything too serious, but there were a few days when I was feeling exceptionally crappy. I even had to do the physical fitness tests when I had a fever. Ugh, that was horrible. Somehow though, I ended up in first place on the mile runs, so, that is obviously saying something about the other kids. I was sick, and I never exercise (well, rarely), so that doesn't bode well for them. The last day I missed (last  year), I believe was from my wanting to take a day off. I just didn't feel like going to school, and ended up skipping.
