Okay, so this is a drawing thread that I have made, and these are just some pictures that I have sketched, I would just like to know what you guys think of them, I will try to make some as often as possible for you guys to check out, so without further a do, here is my first drawing of Link!


I would say that the trickiest part when it came to drawing him was probably his hair since he has so much of it and because it is very detailed. Nevertheless, I think it came out pretty well and I am rather satisfied with it. 

Oh and by the way, if you guys have suggestions for characters I should try to draw, I will do my best and draw them, do try to keep them cartoon, or rpg related, like spongebob, mario,zelda or anything along the lines of that. I hope you like it! I will try to do another one by this weekend!

As for your artwork, what an extremely neat sketch that is! I liked how you were able to properly shade different areas of the sketch lighter and darker. Keep up the great work and I would definitely prefer to notice a greater amount of your sketches each and every singular week!

thephantombrain : Thanks man, it takes time (probably 20 minutes to make a good drawing like this and I erase a lot after doing basic outlines/ contour shapes. This is 100% sketch man, I don't trace anything. XD, if you look closely you can see the horizontal contour line I made for link's face to put all of his facial features such as nose and everything else. 

As for the drawing, I will do my best to do it, just be patient though, it might not be done for a week or so. Glad you liked this!

That's a really good drawing. I can also actually see the vertical line a little bit around the nose & mouth. Either that or my screen is incredibly dirty.

I'd also like to see you sketch Adam from Metroid: Other M. What picture of him you use doesn't matter but I think the picture in my post layout would be pretty good to draw from.

Hey guys, I recently did another drawing of both Mario and Luigi and I thought I would share it with you guys:

I think it came out pretty good. I made the both of them together because I just though, eh you can't really have one without the other, so why not? 

I think the hardest part of drawing them was trying to make their hat wrap around their heads, I admit I had some trouble with that, but I think it turned out okay in the end. I will try to get some new ones out by this weekend or Monday if I can.

Hey guys, looks like I am here with a new drawing, this is another Mario based set I did here, this time however, they are wario and waluigi. I will admit, doing wario's cleft chin and mustache was a bit tricky to do just perfectly, and waluigi's ears and his nose were also a bit of a challenge, nevertheless, I think they came out pretty good overall. 


I am going to get cracking on another set tomorrow as soon as possible since I already know I am not going to  have that much homework to do.

Hope you guys like the way this turned out. And by the way, do you guys think I should add color to my pictures and use colored pencils or outline them with ultra fine sharpie or anything? Or just leave it as the initial sketch?

Well, the first thing I would definitely say is that you are very skilled in your drawing man and it is amazing. One suggestion is to make Wario's chin and hat slightly less sharp. but you are a much more skilled artist than me so you may know better. Awesome job and thanks for the summon man!

Those are pretty good. I like them as just the sketch. If you wanted to color or outline them, I'd do an outline for a full body possibly with some minor background features or a whole scene for coloring it in. That's just my preference. You're doing really good work as it is.
