Yeah, I tend to talk with myself.  I feel like it's a tad bit accidental when it happens because most of the time, when I speak to myself, it's usually from my thoughts and imagination.  It's a bit of bad habit but it can also be fun to do sometimes.

I would say yes, but I am looking over my shoulder reading my comments atm. But yes, I do find that talking to myself helps my train of thought at times. Lets say I am stuck in a spot in the story. I just start talking, and sometimes argue, with myself and ideas come up sometimes. Self brainstorming can be beneficial to a writer sometimes. Though sometimes the sarcasm does get a little annoying so I have to tell myself to back off and to focus on the task at hands. I don't a;ways listen. Having ADD kinda makes it hard to stay focuses so I have to yell at myself sometimes.

Well I used to talk to myself a lot but now I the only time I talk to myself is when I'm thinking which is not actually talking so I guess that doesn't count. I stopped talking to myself because I found that when I did people would make certain comments about it. Honestly I don't care what people think but I guess you could say I just grew to think to myself more rather than talk to myself.

Seriously, I do talk to myself, not very loud but it helps me think better. As my mother says, I remember things better if I listen to them, so every time I'm planning/studying something I whisper to myself like if someone else was with me, and it works out pretty nicely, so I'm not going to change it.

I talk to myself on a more personal basis. It isn't loud enough for everyone around me to hear. I guess I whisper to myself? Yeah, that's it. I am very stressed most of the time, and I have anxiety issues. So, I just tell myself that I can do it and I can get through the day. I tell myself positive things often to make my life easier. It doesn't help all the time, however it does sometimes. When it does work, I feel more confident.

I talk to myself on a daily basis, especially when I'm alone (Sounds creepy I know) but it helps me answer questions among other things, I used to hide talking to myself as I always hear people say "You can get locked up for talking to yourself" in which I believed at first but I realized I'm not on that level of crazy just yet.

I usually talk to myself anywhere, even when walking through busy streets to get shopping or when I'm in college, I always get looked at weirdly but I don't care.

Yea sometimes I talk to myself. When I am at work and don't want to distract others it may be just a bit of mumbling, but it sometimes helps to remind me what I need to get done or hearing myself say it makes me think of it differently.

Plus there are times when I am so drowned in visual input for long periods of time auditory seems to mix things up a little if I am on my own. A lot of times that is why people working at a computer all day listen to music.

I hear that talking to yourself is a sign of high intelligence, but in my case I think it is just a little bit of crazy, or cray cray as it is sometimes put nowadays.
