Each day there will be 4 Jerseys you can compete for:
Yellow Jersey: Most words in a day
Blue Jersey: Most posts in a day
Red Jersey: Biggest post in a day
Green Jersey: Most 30+ word posts in an hour

If you get 1st place in a Jersey for a day, you get to "wear" that Jersey the following day. To "wear" it means that the background of your username will have a unique background graphic. Only the top 5 places of each Jersey gets points, 1st gets 5 and 5th gets 1. Whoever has the most points for any Jersey at the end of the competition gets to wear that Jersey for the entire next month. If you have more than 1 jersey, your jersey receives stripes for each jersey color you own.

Along with the Jerseys are Banners that change your username color. They basically represent who has the most points total:
Rainbow Banner: Whoever has the most points so far in the competition
White Banner: New member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who has signed up in the past 3 months)

You'll be DQ'd if:
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in one of the following forums: Crazy House, Vizzed Market, Polls and Questions, Newbie Forum
-You copy content from other websites or other posts
-You use the "tabbing" technique to make a bunch of posts in a short amount of time
-The number of posts you scored toward the Green Jersey is more than half of your total posts made for the day

New rule! If you get DQd just once from a Jersey, you can no longer get points for that Jersey for the rest of the month.

New rule! Posts in the Newbie and Crazy House forums do not count toward the Green Jersey.

Yes! I am pumped! Hopefully I don't fade after a few days and then have to post like crazy at the end like I did last year. I will probably try for yellow and blue this year, red and green aren't my forte.

I am super excited for this Tour de Vizzed! This month I will hopefully try to go for every jersey whenever I have enough spare time and the competition isn't very wild. I hope that the forums have a lack of spammy posts this month like they did last month. Like last time, I promise to not spam intentionally except this time I will keep that promise. Well, I can say, good luck with everyone and whoever wins this, although I won't be too much on this like I did in October, but I'll still do my best this month.

Oh! I am so excited about this .. I have only done a TDV once before.. and now that I am back with vizzed I am so happy that I have a chance to compete in it again. It's so fun and time consuming for me which is a great thing..! Good Luck to all contestants!!

I want to win fuse I did not get to join last time

   The Tour de Vizzed of this month is quite difficult. Users of Vizzed are posting extremely speedily. My goal is to at least obtain one Jersey by the conclusion of today.

I am excited, but I won't be trying as hard this time around. This time, I will mostly be going for Red and Yellow because I don't go back to school until February, so it will be easier for me to make longer posts. In October, I was really limited in time, to 5 to 10 minutes per session on my computer during school so I could not crank out those long ones often.

Hopefully, I could do better this time when it comes to overall performance, but I don't believe I will be able to finish off the month as well as I did last time because it seems that this months TDV has quite a few new competitors and it looks like they are all going to do just as well as some of us did in October.

I don't mean to rain on the parade, but the TDV is always the spammiest competition, even though it means well.

You can punish rule breakers all you want. They keep sprouting up like weeds in this one competition for the sake of silly jersey colors.

I have a bad feeling this month's won't be any different.

Wow...it feels like last January..when i first competed in the TdV...which didnt start out good for me. Lets see how this January might go for me. (it might be another lazy posting month for me)

Vacation held me back for the first 2 days, but I will try for another one of these.

I will post as usual, but I'm not really competing because I'm not that interested. Still, that doesn't mean that I don't want any jerseys!

I really don't like the rule about having to have double the post count of what you got in the Green Jersey. Earlier today I finished 21 posts in 1 hour and now I have to make another 21!!

Razor-987 : I tried to top your 21 posts in an hour from yesterday but I could only meet it. For the last 5 minutes I couldn't find a thread that I could post, it was just your typical spam. Good luck beating 21 today!

Looks like I will have a lot of points to make up for these first days. I guess I will have to try and get that yellow jersey and a good number of those red jerseys. That is what killed me lazt.month, I went just for the blue and the green ones and I really couldn't get many of the other ones.

The first days are always the most active, I tend to wait until the end to make my move.

I'm excited! Last TdV was fun! I'm going to try for the Blue Jersey again this time. But I have a question. If I made 42 posts in a day, and 22 were for Green, am I disqualified from TdV for the whole month?

A user of this : You are not disqualified for the entire TdV, just the green jersey.
