So how was your thanksgiving? Mine was pretty good, a lot of family came over and the food was just great and when it was over, I was stuffed and probably at risk for getting a food coma. But nevertheless it was very delicious and I had a great time. Then afterwards we watched man of steel since we hadn't seen it and then had some apple pie which was delicious as well. So overall I think the day went pretty well.

So as the title says, how was your thanksgiving, good? Did you go anywhere? Were you with family? What did you have?

My Thanksgiving was good. We didn't eat as much as last time, but at least I get to now watch Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving, Razor!

My Thanksgiving may be the most important I've ever had.

It was me, my mother, her boyfriend, and my grandmother. My younger brother and sister were nowhere to be seen. Turns out they barely talk to mom anymore. Essentially we're kind of a fractured family.

I spent most of today looking back on how things used to be, when the whole family would gather and we'd have our best meal of the year. We lived in relative poverty compared to most people I know. So Thanksgiving has always been important to us for many reasons. Anyway, I looked back and then looked to where we are at now. It's sad to see how much things have changed, and how bleak it looks that things will ever return to how they were.

Regardless, it was a good time. There were only 4 of us, only 3 related by blood, but it reminded me just how thankful I am to have the few blessings I do in my life. It's definitely a humbling feeling. It may be the smallest Thanksgiving that I've ever been to, but that doesn't mean it was the worst.

Family isn't about who you share blood with. Family is about who wants to be there no matter what. Today, blood relatives chose to forgo their invitation but the family showed up.

My family had Thanksgiving dinner yesterday because we wanted to ski on Thanksgiving (don't ask, we're those stereotypical Coloradoans you've heard about... minus the drugs) but anyway, yeah. When we had our Thanksgiving dinner, it was pretty good. Come to think of it, my parents, sister and I had Thanksgiving at my uncle's mountain house while he wasn't even here... Hmm... That's kind of weird... (Don't worry people, he knows!)
Yep. The snow up here in the Rocky Mountains isn't anything impressive, for sure, still pretty, well, rocky, but I've seen worse. None of my favorite runs were open yet but we still had a lot of fun, and it was actually pretty warm out. I should probably have unzipped my coat or something, but I was too lazy to wrestle with my mittens. Also, I heard Dule Hill was in the Thanksgiving parade? Any Psych-os out there? AWESOME! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat! *fistbump*

It wasn't that special. All I did is eat dinner and watch T.V with my family.

Mine went well. I didn't really go anywhere. We had some turkey, sweet potato cassaroll, cranberry sauce, rolls, stuffing, and all that good stuff. Then we took a nap. Then we watched movies. That was it basically.

I might be the odd one out here...but my Thanksgiving was..horrible. Aside from it being another year without my Grandpa Al..the guy that practically raised me and was my bestfriend as a kid...the holidays don't feel right or normal or anything. I hate it. And then I was stuck with my dad's side of the family. Family can be an awesome thing but I wish it were true. I was stuck around a bunch of people that don't even really like me. 

But I can say, as a means of being positive, I got to see my two beloved cousins Jeremy and Benjamin and got to hug them. Its been such a long time since i've even seen them.

So for Thanksgiving...i'm just thankful for what family members I actually get along with..and that my Grandpa Al is watching over me from Heaven and i'm thankful for all that he did for me before it was his time to leave.

My Thanksgiving was pretty good, the best Thanksgiving I've ever had. I didn't go anywhere. I was with family. I had amazing turkey, terrible mashed potatoes, something I don't know the name of that was marshmallows and some brown stuff mixed together, pumpkin pie, and a piece of my dad's birthday cake from a few days ago. It was the best Thanksgiving I've ever had because I ate the best turkey I've ever eaten and one of my friends came over to my house for a sleepover.
