Those of you who pick Superman should probably look up the comic "The Dark Knight Returns". This showdown has already happened before and Batman beat Superman in that comic. Some believe the new Superman movie could be related to that comic. During Comic Con, the Superman movie panel had someone read this quote from that comic: " I want you to remember, Clark…in all the years to come…in your most private moments…I want you to remember…my hand…at your throat…I want…you to remember…the one man who beat you."

Why are Batman and Superman fighting anyway, aren't they both on the side of good? They are supposed to be fighting supervillans not each other.  It sounds like they are getting off topic, someone needs to sit them both down and give them a good talking too!

As you stated, Superman is an alien-being with super human powers, compared to a "normal" human with not just some tech, but a LOT of tech. Super human abilities versus regular human abilities is a bit unfair though.

Superman gains power from yellow sunlight. He gets super speed, enhanced senses, heat vision, super strength, and flying powers.

Batman is extremely intelligent, athletic and in excellent physical condition. He knows more than one hundred styles of martial arts and even creates his own tech; he sure does have a big wallet...a BIG wallet.

In a fight, even though I really like Batman, who is probably my favorite super hero of all time (even though I like marvel a tad bit more than DC), I would say Superman would win. In the end, Batman is just a human who cannot penetrate the skin of steel, or escape the blows of super strength unharmed. Batman sure has the wisdom and wits to hatch a plan to defeat Superman, but usually it's a head-on-head confrontation, so spontaneous plan-making would be a bit hard lol.

honestly I've never thought either was that great but I guess if I had to choose I'd pick batman, he's a lot more realistic and he could take down superman easily.

I would have to say superman even though batman has beat him before superman has powers while batman don't. I give credit to batman for fighting with no powers but superman would beat him pretty good I think
