Due to busying schedules and life changes, those of us who regularly participated in bible studies have fallen out of the habit. However, new people have joined vizzed, and many more have come to me asking to join the group studies. The only problem is that timing is SUCH an issue for all of us. Therefore, I didn't really feel like it was appropriate to post this in the old thread, as this one will be run completely differently.

Each week, we will pick a topic to study and we will read a set of scripture each day, answering a few reflection questions for reference later. At the end of the week (probably Saturday), we will then meet in a hangout at a pre-determined time so that we may pray and discuss the scriptures we read.

This is pretty much the gist of how I will run the new bible study, so don't sign up if you think you can't make the time, or if you have no interest in jotting down a few notes each day. However, if you hunger for knowing Christ better as I do.... just let me know. Drop a line here and I'll start putting something together. Depending on how quickly people sign up, I might put our first lessons/ studies up in a new thread next Monday, the 11th of November.

Of course you don't have to make EVERY session... and you can just come when you are able to. If you want to join us, please post several times you would be available on Saturday for a group discussion. Use server time, please.

Big sis I want to join the group but, when I try to make my gmail that it won't let me sigh up....is there a way that you can slide it for me please? Like saying or to pm me what scripture that I should read. To help my growth as a Christian for that has sunk so low.....I have a feel I am not getting the growth I need when I go to church. Because I go to a church full of black people who don't take things seriously.... and due to my illness I cannot go every Sunday......I want to start again and I want to hunger to Jesus more. So please help me......Grampa knows this (Mrfe) but I would also like it if you could help me as well.....if that can be done then maybe after that. I can tell you what I have learned in a way and my progress.....I have the one thing I lack and it is prayer......I can't pray for long I don't know why. But, I can only pray for like a for a short time and not more......I try to put in so much to pray for like...people, my family, hospital and more....if you can do this for me then I can go back to how things were. And not forgetting to pray when I need to. And to read the bible as well....

Eniitan :  You can always participate through the thread. I think we can ALL use a little more Jesus in our lives, no matter how devout we might be.  I will be posting the questions up, so you'd be able to see them yourself, and we can always discuss in the threads as well.

I'd love to try and do this again, I'd love to maybe read the book of Proverbs with you guys too sometime.

Singelli :  I know I wasn't summoned for this and I wish I could participate (which I can't, as with most things :/), but if questions should arise about a particular section of scripture during your studies or whatever, I would be happy to assist / contribute however, wherever I can.  It forces helps me to learn my Bible properly as well  Just give me a "ring".  I'll be here.

Oh yeah... lol. I guess that's because I'm pretty flexible.

Usually something in the afternoon or evening will work best for me, from around 12n-6pm or so server. 5pm-6pm server I probably can't do, as that's generally when we have supper. Also, those are start times so I could start one at 6pm server.

Singelli : I am available every day but on Wednesday and Sunday I am not available between ( on Wednesday) 7 to 830 and on Sunday 10 30 to noon    

Evenings is best for me. I usually come back at around 5-6 pm because the drive is usually 40 minutes to an hour and a half depending on traffic.

play4fun :  I take this as you DO want to join?  And you go to the school even on Saturdays?  O.o  (That's the only time we'll be doing a hangout thanks to our busy schedules)

Singelli : Oh, are we just limiting it to Saturday? I am free on Saturday anytime unless there is something going on.

I haven't been able to buy new headphones/mic so I can't join yet but I do have a thought.

Instead of trying to find one time for everyone to meet on one day, try to get enough people willing to lead groups on each day at different times so that there will be less of a chance for people to miss a study. I know there are some who just can't join because of their timezone so having another group of people meeting at a different time might be easier for them to join.

Surgiac :  I thought I had responded to this, but I suppose I forgot.  Sorry about that.    Anyways, I do like your idea if anyone wants to go for it.

Would you join if much of the conversation was held in the thread?  Or at least if you just wanted to share your thoughts in the thread?

To everyone else:  let me know if you're interested.  I've written a plan for us and will hopefully post it later tonight.

I would love to join if (much) of the conversation was on a thread. I feel it would be a little easier to coordinate.
