I don't mean upgraded to the latest HD flat screen plasma LCD beast or megatron.

The internet has pretty much taken over my interest I no longer even touch a t.v anymore since I could just view most of it on the internet.
I just given up finding a quality show these days the only thing that interests me is football,baseball,and basketball of course.

I couldn't possibly ditch my television, I use it all the time. Whether it's movies or video games, I'm constantly using it. I have an N64, PS2, Wii, and PS3 all hooked up to my television... I wouldn't be able to just drop it like that as I still like to quite frequently play games on it. And besides, I'd rather watch anime from it anyway, I don't like watching it in front of a screen that's literally right next to my face like with a computer monitor.

I've almost completely ditched it. I still watch it because I can't find any Wander Over Yonder episodes anywhere. Also, the internet is honestly easier for me, since I can watch what I want, when I want to see it. And not have to watch "Commercials with a brief interruption of *Insert show name here*". Plus there's hardly anything worth watching anymore,  like 5 at most.

I think I slowly stopped watching TV after I started collecting game consoles. I mostly just watch everything on Amazon Prime if I get the chance. But I still watch off-the-air TV from time to time if there's anything good on.

My screen back home would probably could be used just as well as an television just the same as an computer screen, but I don't have the digital box thingy required to see the television channels and I don't care about them anymore. The Internet has really replaced to good old television for this geezer. If I want to see something, I will see it online or download it. When it is convenient to me.

My only use for my flatscreen is to plug my laptop into, I watch everything I would watch on tv on my laptop. I would play xbox on it, but it died.

I did not ditch the TV in that sense, but I did in a way. The TV in my room is still there perfectly intact but I have not turned it on in more than three months. I have been too occupied with Vizzed, Video games, school, and making money.

I wouldn't really do such a thing to the TV which my parents spent a lot of money on.. I wouldn't just walk out a door so easily unless I was forced. I usually watch it for like 3 hours a day and I am pretty much addicted and stuck to it like Glue and a sheet of paper.

I have a computer and it pretty much replaces every other electronic object in my house except from food related ones and the mains.

Skype > Phone
Steam + Vizzed > Gaming consoles
Spotify > Ipod

Everything has gone which I have used before I go a netbook and then even more things went when I got my new PC which was almost 12 times as powerful as the netbook.

The only time I ever watch TV is when there is something really good on. Like some sort of one off series like the Wrong Mans. Apart from that I just watch it in the background when I am eating or something.
