Where did you get the majority of your video games?

My mother gave me a good lot of the N64 and NES games, because she owned them before me, and gave them to me when she got tired of them. Otherwise, I get them from the flea market and pawn shops.

What about you?

Retro game stores (over priced and in bad condition normally), Amazon/eBay, Flea Market, Thrift stores, and yard sales. My favorite places to get games is flea markets, thrift stores and yard sales. Finding the games is half the fun! 

I never get anything from pawn shops. I hate those places and I hate the smart alecks that work there.

Probably walmart and bestbuy is where I get most of my videogames. I buy most of my consoles and equipment/ video game accesories at bestbuy, but I also get my actually get my video games at either wal mart or bestbuy, or whichever one of the 2 offers them at a lower price after comparing them.

It sucks because the bestbuy that was closer to me was shutdown and the only other one I know of is like half a million miles away. So a good deal of my video game stuff comes from walmart because it has low prices. I will only go to bestbuy if it absolutely has a better price or has something walmart doesn't ir has something exclusive.

I don't go to gamestop for 2 reasons:

1. Everything is too expensive
2. I have had a lot of problems with buying items in the past.

So that's why I don't go there anymore.

The majority of my video games nowadays come from Target, Amazon, and the Exchange. Target is generally speaking overpriced and has a crappy selection, but I get a discount there, and they have buy two get one free game deals sometimes, so that can make everything worth it. Amazon is usually a great place to go simply because there is such a large selection and most of the games come at cheaper prices than anywhere else. The Exchange is another great place for me simply because they carry a lot of the older games, and they give way better deals for games than Gamestop. I used to get a lot of my games from Gamestop and sometimes I still have to because they're literally the only game store nearby with a decent selection, but I really hate going there because they always gypped me in the past. I really wish I had the knowledge I have now when I was younger, then maybe I wouldn't have had to deal with Gamestop's crap, and could have gone to better game stores. 

I get the majority of my video games from GameStop because me and my parents like GameStop the best and we get discounts on every game we buy there because we joined something. I forgot what it was called.

Well I got a lot of my Super Nintendo games from my cousin and I bought some at a yard sale as well. I also got a lot of my video games from my mom or family! I love receiving those type of presents.. it's fun enjoyable and especially if you have been waiting to get the game for some time now which I end up having to do because I don't plan on ever buying another 50 dollar video game again...

   The majority amount of my video games had been purchased by my uncle of Joey at the video gaming retail of GameStop.

I get my games from um ... Gamestop or Walmart ... my mom goes abroad once a year and when she does she buys them for us .. she is a nice person  

I buy them off of ebay, amazon, or walmart usually. On ebay I bid for games that I would like if they were cheaper, while Amazon and Walmart are just for the games I know I really want. 

If it's an old game that I really want, I get it on Ebay, otherwise, I just go to Gamestop.

I get my majority of my video games from Bestbuy and Gamestop. If it is a old game I go to Gameplus. -Redbattler

I got a ton of games from Funcoland, which was a predecessor to Game Stop and the buy em/sell em game stores.  They had great deals and were always super cheap.  i loved that place.  That's where I got most of my NES games.  SNES were more a Best Guy sort of thing.

Gamestop. I get alot of my new games there. 30 out of sixty-something. 
My old games.. There used to be a store around my hometown that bought old game cartirges from people who trade them in.
Sadly, After 1 month of buisness the one store shut down and is now for lease.

Local games store with Gamestop being one of them. I'm considering just buying them online though. It would generally be cheaper that way & I have a better chance at finding those hard to find games that I want.

I mostly got most of my games in my game collection from a gamestop store located in a mall nearby where I currently live. I sometimes also order some games from amazon.
