I looked up serebii and bulbapedia for stats on garchomp when I saw something about base stat totals
all of arceus's stats have 120, 6 stats mean a total of 720 but under 720 was 780!!! It was mewtwo, not just regular mewtwo mind you but it's new x and y forms.
With up to 195 in it's highest stat, does mewtwo reclaim the title of the strongest Pokémon there is?

Probably does, it is pretty beast though, I mean come on, it is just an awesome pokemon. Mewtwo deserves to be the best stat wise, it is just an awesome pokemon, it has great moves, plus the megaevolutions seriously boost its stats up, so it wouldn't surprise me if it re claimed the title of strongest pokemon.

It even surpasses the creator of pokemon stat wise. I also wouldn't e shocked if they gave arceus a megaevolution for some reason, even if he is a legendary.

I think Mewtwo was, is, and always will be superior to Arceus in every way. He is a true strongest Pokemon, regardless of the stats. That is in my opinion, anyway. I love Mewtwo ^^!

Just saying I always thought that Mew was a god to the pokemon world instead of Arceus?! And still Arceus in competitive battling is quite hard to take down, due to you can have random typing for Arceus now! Including Fairy?! I still think if you had Arceus and spam recover due to his defenses its still quite good. Mewtwo X and Y, literally those Attack and Special Attack stats... Just say the Uber section will be getting more competitors

Sorry to be a real buzzkill/killjoy, but you could always give Arceus a life orb, as much as I hate to admit it. You can't give mewtwo one, considering it already holds a mega stone, assuming you want to mega evolve it. I do agree with you all though, I hate arceus because of how overpowered and uber it is.

To me this doesn't really make sense I mean Arceus is essentially the god of pokemon so it doesn't make sense that it doesn't have the highest base stat total.

And am i the only one who likes Arceus? Everybody here seems to dislike it but it's my favorite legendary :3
Also I'm kinda bummed they didn't give Arceus a mega evolution I mean yes it would be extremely OP but still it would be so epic :3

Mewtwo is just that awesome. But Mega Mewtwo Y loses to Arceus in a battle because of it's pitifully weak Defense, leaving it wide open for one of Arceus's notorious Extremespeeds. But Mega Mewtwo X will beat it any day.
