Some of us know that there were only 3 new legendary Pokemon in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.  Their names are Xerneas (Pokemon X), Yveltal (Pokemon Y), and one we know nothing about, called Zygarde (Pokemon Z???).  Now, we all know Xerneas represents the top half of an X, Yveltal represents the letter Y, and Zygarde represents a Z.  All of the first letters in their names correspond to the game.  We have Pokemon X and Y, represented by Xerneas and Yveltal.  But, what does Zygarde represent?  All of the facts I stated earlier, seem to come together.  They all suggest that we can expect a Pokemon Z to come out next year.  And, of course, Zygarde will be the mascot.  This will probably change the story dramatically, like in past Pokemon games.  What do you guys think?  Do you think there will be a Pokemon Z? Or maybe Nintendo will spice things up a bit like what they did with Black 2 and White 2.

I'm still hoping nintendo announces a ruby and sapphire remakes since Gen 3 is the best gen. There was been quite a bit of NPC's in the game who mentioned the hoenh region .
Also, i never found any yet but there have been some internet memes said buy trainers when you beat them.

That would be really nice if they remade Ruby and Sapphire. They were already really good on Gameboy Advance. And Pokemon Z definitely sounds like it's gonna happen, especially with the legendary pokemon's name starting with Z.

I had always been thinking that Pokemon Z would be the most likely expansion. I also noted that if they ever make a sequel many years from now like they did with the first 2 generations, they will probably use X and Y Squared. It seems logical.

Yeah I guarantee that they will do something along the lines of what zander said, they will come up with pokemon z and then it will probably be like pokemon x2  or pokemon x3  or something like that because that is normally what they do with pokemon. 

I can guarantee that it is going to happen sooner or later. I am sure that they will make a pokemon Z, they might change it up a bit though and do what they did with white 2 and black 2 as lunar said. 

So I wouldn't really be too shocked if they made pokemon Z next. It would only make sense if they did. Then comes the pokemon squared and cubed....(sigh)

To further extend this theory, take note that Xerneas is called the Life Pokemon. Yveltal is called the Death (Destruction in USA) Pokemon. Zygarde, however, is called the Order Pokemon. It's possible that if there is a Pokemon Z, the story could be that Zygarde had to bring order, or balance to life and death.

Zygarde LOOKS like a Z (trivia: it is the last Pokémon in the Kalos pokedex and the last Pokémon alphabetically (Got this from Bulbapedia), and as lunar said, Xerneas and Yveltel looks like an X and a Y. The new version should probably have some extras, like an extra feature or two. But what most Pokémon fans are looking forward too is a remake for Ruby/Sapphire, or just Emerald.
