I play the piano, for about five years now, and I'm at the approx. fifth level, even though I haven't had a syllabus. I can play some of Bach's minuets and Clementi's sonatinas- I'm a classically-trained pianist, but I am trying my hand at jazz. I love to play anime and video game covers too, like Heaven's Prayer from Dragon Quest IX. 

What about you guys? Do you play instruments? What kind of music do you like to play?

Unfortunately I do not play an instrument, it is a shame because I have always wanted to play the violin and the piano because they are such amazing instruments in my opinion. But unfortunately, I do not play any instruments. I will find the time to do it when I am an adult though, age won't stop me from doing something I really hope to enjoy! 

I am pretty sure a thread like this already exists, but I still think it is a good question to ask though. Glad you play an instrument and you enjoy it and are also good at it! That is awesome!

In primary school everyone was taught to go learn the recorder, then ones that were good (me!) would then learn the clarinet which kinda sucked because we had to put it together and take it apart every lesson and practice times (though I never actually practiced that much). I then stopped when I left primary school and went to secondary school (high school) and I began to learn the piano / keyboard. I still play it though I stop lessons, I now prefer to just use programs to create and play my music and I am starting to learn how to use a DJ set, I take inspiration from the Chemical Brothers!

Right now, I play the baritone in the school band. I don't really mind playing it. I used to play the trumpet back in elementary school and the first two years of middle school. Since the band needed more baritone players, I decided to switch instruments after sixth grade ended.

I really want to try to play other instruments though, specifically the guitar and piano. Also, I like to think of my vocals as an instrument, but that's just me, since I like to sing a lot.

I picked up the guitar instead, the most complicated thing I can play is Fur Elise so far, I'm actually trying to learn the gauntlet theme right now(my nerd is showing). I'd like to learn to play the violin next though. I'm a dedicated amateur at least.

I started the violin when I was eight and I'm now learning to play "Adoration." I'm so excited! It's such a beautiful, dramatic piece!
I was in Orchestra at school in fifth through ninth grade (having already taken two years of private lessons, which I am still taking.) In eighth grade, I was first chair, which was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the high school Orchestra teacher in ninth grade was an arrogant jerk (he literally gave me an F on the final) so this year I changed to taking theater, which was honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. I still play in private lessons, my private teacher's orchestra that is not affiliated with my school, and take an additional bowing class, though, so I'm not missing out on my instrument or anything.
