Welcome to....man i barely have the will to do this,as you all might know i have a particular hate for reviewing legendary pokemon ,Why...?,because there to good,there to perfect,when i have a pokemon like those to review i can barely think of something interesting to come up with,but screw it,due to popular demand i will review one of the most requested pokemon ever-

At the start this guy can learn 4 out of 5 moves i really don't have the patience to tell you all of them and give a complete explanation for all of them so..go to bulbapedia,in here i will tell you the moves i recommend

Techno blast,yes
Quick attack,yes
Magnet rise,no
Metal claw,yes
Screech,no

Genesect can have any of these moves and they are ALL completely RANDOM,there is no breeding way to get specific moves there is no Ev training there is no way at all so...good luck

Fury cutter,7:this move has a base attack damage of 20 and has 95% accuracy,Also this move's damage will increase every time you use it in a row from 20-40-60 and so on and so on until it gets capped at 160,this is one of my favorite moves but to be honest its not that effective ,however it will be effective for now so have fun with it while you can

Lock on,11:This move prevents the target from using moves such as protect detect and blah blah blah,stupid move don't take it done

Flame charge,18: Um..okay this move has a base attack damage of 50 and has 100% accuracy also this move raises the users speed by 1 stage,good move take it use it done

Magnet bomb,22:This move has a base attack damage of 60 and...will almost never miss,this move is completely uneffected by stat changes at all,pretty good move for now use it

Slash,29:this move is one of my favorites,this move has a base attack damage of 70 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has an increased critical hit ratio,great move one of my favorites take it

Metal sound,33: PFFT HA HA HA HA HA-

Signal beam,40:this bug type move has a base attack damage of 75 and has 100% accuracy also this move has a 10% chance of confusing the opponent,pretty good move i say take it

Tri attack,44:This move has a base attack damage of 80 and has 100% accuracy...thats it,not one of its strongest moves and i really did not have a good time with it so..take it if you want but i don't like it

X scissor,51: This move has a base attack damage of 80 and has 100% accuracy...once again thats it,this is basically tri attack masqueraded as a bug type move so everything i said about tri attack,just apply it here

Bug buzz,54: ah bug buzz,this move has a base attack damage of 90 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has a 10% chance of lowering the targets stats,GREAT move take it PLEASE...for me

Simple beam,62: I guess you could say this is a very SIMPLE MOVE

Relinquish: Because your a manifestation of my deep dark and tormented psyche that's trying to cope with the fact that i am mentally insane...jesus i need help


Zap cannon,66: This move has a base attack damage of 120 and has 50% accuracy and paralyzes the target ever time it hits...this is a great move no doubt about it...jesus that accuracy is TERRIBLE,i mean it this move almost NEVER HIT,so if you think you can handle this move go right ahead and get it but let me tell you its not for everyone

Hyper beam,73: This move has a base attack damage of 150 and has 90% accuracy,also this move requires the user to wait for one turn after the move is used for a recharge,this move is MUCH better than zap cannon and i actually recommend this move despite its accuracy,and i will admit i actually had fun with this move

Selfdestruct,77:Finally to end this tedious task we have selfdestruct,a move that ends this pokemon's life,i don't blame you buddy the moveset is the worst part of the review,anyway this move ends the users Pokemon's life and in return will most likely make the target faint,i see almost no use for this move so i don't recommend you take it


Stats

Hp,71retty good but it is the lowest of this pokemons stats so...its still good but i expected better for a legendary

Attack & Special attack,120: WOAH....that's a big boost in stats,this is one of Genesects most effective stats and it will boost this Pokemon's already great moves up to an extreme level so be sure to make good use of this stat

Def & Special DEF,95:This guy has a pretty good defense and i will admit this stat helped me alot,there was not a single time in my entire testing time where i never felt like this stat never helped so whenever your in trouble just remember...this stat will help you

Speed,99: GREAT SPEED and the best thing is i never expected this stat to be so high you know...since its a steel type and alot of those guys are slow so...i know i sound like a broken record but this is a pretty good stat

The best part about this pokemon...IT ONLY HAS 1 WEAKNESS HA HA HA YES THANK GOD, i finally found a pokemon that works for me,ONLY 1 WEAKNESS and its fire ...just fire,i cant,i mean,its so great its so GREAT you will rarely run into to much trouble because of this stat

Yeah uh one of the downsides to this pokemon is...it takes forever to level,i mean it,this took me a long time to level this pokemon so...have fun


Tms and Hms

Yeah i uh..did not have much to work with here because 1,this things tm and hms are kind of bad,2 this thing does not have many common weaknesses or threats,so i dont have many things to defend against,but i did try my best to make this set have a purpose and in a a way it does,this set is meant to be a status afflictor,its meant to paralyze to freeze and to burn now ON TO THE SET

Thunderbolt:This move is meant to paralyze

Ice beam: This move is meant to freeze

Flamethrower:this move is meant to burn

Fly: NOW before you go on a freaking rampage in the comments i need to tell you about this move,this move is meant for you to get out of sticky situations,so whenever you predict damage that can kill you just use this move and GET OUT


Gyms Rivals and Elite 4

Gyms:This guy is very effective in gyms because its quick its powerful and its sturdy this guy is a must have for gyms so go ahead and take it

Rivals:This guy is even MORE effective against your rival because this Pokemon only has 1 weakness,its so easy to just blow through the a.i with this thing that its insane

trainers are....NOTHING

Elite 4:This guy is a must have for the elite 4 it has power it has speed it has type advantage well...defensive type advantage,but still you can give it alot of tms so it can counter alot of types so...man this is a great pokemon to take to the elite 4


Tips

1.This pokemon takes a LONG time to level so give it an item that increases the amount of exp points it gets

2.Do to this Pokemon's speed power and defensive type advantage it makes a great tank for your team this guy can easily be the tip of the spear

3.If you give this Pokemon a healing item give it an item that heals slowly over time not something that can heal in one burst

Final thoughts:...Was there really any doubt?,i mean when you hear the word legendary and pokemon is involved we all know were getting a good pokemon possibly even a great one,and this pokemon is GREAT,this guy has an excellent moveset,pretty good stats,effective tms and hms,and it is one of the best pokemon i have ever tested against the a.i,still this pokemon does have its problem...well not alot really in fact i only have 1 major gripe the rest of them are really just nitpicks,the only problem i have with this pokemon are tms and hms,i mean there not spread wide enough there not balanced enough,and maybe thats the point maybe this pokemon is just meant to be a oddball just a pokemon who can learn alot of moves but a master at none so...maybe i need to do some more research but as of now i guess i really like this pokemon so i can give it the agent of awesomeness badge and i will recommend it to you if you can get your hands on it

Genesect is pretty cool in my opinion. I have not had the chance to use one yet, and I would love to. Cool design as well. 

Genesect is a power house. As you said, 120 base Att and S. Att...very nice. Its Speed is very nice as well. An adequate defense finishes up the great stats that he has. 

The move pool is what draws my attention however. It has a wide amount of moves to learn, and all of them are really good as well. He is definitely climbing his way up to OU, if he isn't there already.

Those three moves really provide coverage to a lot of different typings, and along with its stats, it'll be hard to take Genesect down.

I loved genesect from the moment I used one in pokemon black 2. I got it right before the 5th gym. It was only level 20 and helped me beat that gym.

I absolutely love watching live battles when this Pokemon is involved. It is the type of legendary Pokemon which is not completely over powered as far as total stats but it is also the type of legendary Pokemon that is simply put, a TANK! With its great speed and power this thing can sweep so many different teams it is INSANE!!!! I have not gotten a chance to use this but I have to admit that from what I have seen this Pokemon is not one to not have on your team if you could. As always I enjoyed your review and still can't believe it takes a while to train such a tank. O.O Also why does it not know a powerful move of its typing in your suggestion? Little weird but I saw what you were doing with the suggestion so I will let it go. :p

This pokemon is awesome and I must say that this review is just as awesome, you really put a lot of detail and effort into it as always and you also really are thorough with all of your information which is great. 

Although the hp is kind of low, all of its other stats are pretty good. Overall though, I think it is a great pokemon and it really has a lot of good moves as well. You broke your review down nicely and kept it organized while also making it very in depth. So good job on that.
