I learned this the hard way today. Spent a ton of money on tickets three rows from the ice, and I missed the whole game. Couldn't see a thing. So I stood up. Then the lady behind me (she was one of those 50 year old women that bleach thier hair, wear way too much makeup, spend too much time in the tanning bed, and chew their gum really loud) started yelling at me because she couldn't see. I told her that I can't see if I sit, so that if she stands we will both be able to see. She called over security and they said they would throw me out if I didn't sit. I should have just let them throw me out, because I couldn't see anything anyway. Moral of the story: the nosebleeds are the best seats, the "good" seats suck.

Oh really? That sucks, I feel bad that all of your money ended going to waste. It sucks when you spend a lot of money on something and it ends up going to waste like that. I know you got yelled at by that lady, but you kind of had a right to stand up because you couldn't even see that game. I think this is just horrible man. I am so sorry that this happened to you, it is really unfortunate the way it happened. I hope that you never have this problem again if you see hockey often or anything. Razor-987 : The tickets were priced at around $150 or something ridiculous like that but we got them last minute on StubHub for $70 each. That is still a lot of money to look at the back of the bench player's heads and some random hockey sticks propped up against the glass.

Yeah, sitting at the sides are bad. I prefer 2nd deck seating in a corner over right up against the glass along the long side boards. It's impossible to see. I never have understood why those seats are the most expensive. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the game at all from there. Sorry that this happened to you. :/
