Sorinkun : Mario can't even TOUCH the respect I have for my Pokémon!

As cool as Pokémon is, Mario is considered a high class gaming legend for people who have played some of the franchise's games. Pokémon is a legend as well, yet when are you ever going to here a plumber fight a giant turtle to save the princess .

Oh my gosh.. This question is really hard for me. I love both of these fantastic series! I even made long reviews for both of the series!!
My final answer is Pokemon. I enjoy it a little bit more than mario. But I can agree that they do have really good Mario games as well..

I really like them both,I think they are both very awesome, fun and unique in their own special way, but I am going to have to say that I like Mario just a tad more, I have always liked Mario games, but sonic game are my favorite, but since that wasn't an option, I picked Mario games. Pokemon is really cool don't get me wrong, but Mario has been around longer and I just think that some of his games are slightly more exciting. Both games could use a new plot twist in my opinion but they are both still very good games in their own way, but this one goes to Mario. Pokemon is still awesome though. Again this was a tough decision to come to. 

Pokemon. Definitely Pokemon. Don't get me wrong, I love Mario, but Pokemon is a lot better.

They are both very entertaining games. I enjoyed playing through Emerald all the way to Soul Silver (after that pokemon just got terrible so I actually traded in my Pokemon Black) and I took the odd trip back to kanto with Blue, Red and Yellow which I happen to be solo running with Pikachu right now on the Retro Game Room.
On the other hand you have your Super Mario, the ever addictive Super Mario. A plain uncreative name, but under the case is a great game. A game I would play for hours on end and not get the slightest bit bored. A game that just will not get old, I can just picture people playing a remake of Super Mario World in 2048 where everything is holograms but Super Mario is still played. 
Out of the two I will have to follow the tracks of a plumber and say that Super Mario is the Alpha against Pokemon, RPG's can get boring and too repetitive!

I prefer Mario over Pokemon because I am a huge fan of Mario and I don't play Pokemon. I will try it eventually though.

I like them both, but I have to give the edge to Pokémon.

Umm, well, this is pretty much a tough choice because I happen to like the both of them very well, so it'll be hard to pick, but if I have to pick, I got to go with Mario only because I played Mario a tiny bit more than Pokemon.

Mario Vs. Pokemon. Uhm. Now that's a hard question, and here comes an easy answer.

I played Pokemon Games for years now. But Mario is also one of my favorite games. I know that Mario and Pokemon are both very good game.
But in my opinion Pokemon is better. I liked Pokemon games because it has better story lines compared to mario. But Mario has a better sound track than Pokemon. Mario is a legend if you ask me, but you can get bored playing it if you can't beat a level. Pokemon on the other hand has an easy way of escaping a level that you can't finish, you can either try powering up your pokemon's stats or try leveling it up or by using action replay code or other cheating programs. Mario is a based on how skilled you are while Pokemon is based on strategy, you can easily win pokemon if you have good strategic plan.

To sum this up: Pokemon is the best! (In my opinion that is) Another Point For Pokemon!

I would choose pokemon.......i played pokemon games...more than mario games.

I would say mario since I'm not much of a Pokemon person. Even though I'm more of a Sonic gamer, I would still prefer to play mario over pokemon. I'm not sure what else to say... I just like plat former games.

Pokemon is better. But I must say that I also do love Mario. I have been a Pokemon fan for my whole life and only a Mario fan for a few years so I have to go with the one that makes a connection with me.
